hey misty today was the worst day of my life. My two budgies fighted in the nest, when we tried to get them out from the nest. I saw that the chick was bleeding. And only two eggs in the nest and 2 eggs were thrown . and at the first when we tried to open the nest a egg fell out . please misty anything I can do to my budgies?
I'm so sorry to hear 😪 Were the parents fighting each other? Sometimes they get stressed unfortunately. If the eggs are not broken you could try to put them back if the parents have calmed down. Did the chick stop bleeding? If not you could stop it with some corn starch. If the parents stay aggressive, you may need to hand feed the chick to protect it. For the eggs I think the only thing that works is an incubator because they need warmth. Of course the best is if they can be with their parents. I hope they're more relaxed by now. Sometimes breeding can be very hard when the parents are stressed or aggressive. Mini also threw some eggs out of the nest once. Some people leave the dad with the babies and also give hand formula if the mom is aggressive. I hope you can find a solution!
