now i have too explain my position, i am a woodland contractor/ natural resource management specialist (B.Sc qualified and 50 years exp) from wilts/dorset somerset devon, now living in brittany fr. I missed the podcast regreteably, my observation is why is there a greater abundance of fungii in france in particular? I totally believe we need to manage all forestry on mixed constant cover forestry, as regards ancient trees i have felled a heart rotted elm with elm disease that was so decayed it was just sitting there but stable due to its size (in ireland). Being 62 I watched dutch Elm disease kill the 600+ trees as a teenager in the space of a few short years. love this podcast how do i connect in real time?
