Kang Yatse II is the lesser-known 6000-meter peak of the Ladakh region with a lot of technical and endurance challenges. Just 300 ft taller than the most popular Stok Kangri, the peak requires snow skills for the summit climb. The 11 days enduring expedition is more than ascending a mountain. It is a journey that goes much easier if you are prepared for it. So, how should one prepare for KY II? What are the things required for the trek? Hi there, October and November is not the ideal time to do Kang Yatse II owing to safety reasons
