      Hi, I will be going next week (solo female). Is it risky by any chance? I am a little worried about safety since tarsar marsar and a few others were cancelled this year due to unrest in the surrounding areas..

    Hi great video and reality check too. I see many people in the video riding horses is this something that you see common on the trek? Also which company did you use for your hike?

    • @PanoRamaPix
      @PanoRamaPix  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching! Horses are indeed common en route. They are literally the load bearers. I went with Indiahikes

    I think if one is fit enough, they won't have any trouble doing this trek. Doesn't matter if it rains or not.

      Not sure about “budget”, but I stayed in a lovely hotel called Ahdoos. Book in advance and you may get some good deals.

    I am doing it in next week . Lets c . Not much of a prep though . India Hike says cover 5 km in 35 min
    10 km walk 1 hr to 1: 15
    That i hv done twice in 2 weeks thats all . 😂
    No match for a mountain terrain ofcourse.

    TH-cam:
    DIFFICULT!!!
    ME (A Himachali who is now 35 and used to walk to school with an umpteen Kg bag, descending and ascending 8kms one way with a 2000ft height difference everyday from village to school):
    WHAT????
    (And no life wastn't hard. It was ordinary.We didn't know what altitude or life in the plains meant. I remember the first time when I heard that kids in cities go to schools in a bus, I was like, 'but why?How do they have fun in between then??' I'm that same kid today. So this life is hard for you just like being stuck in a traffic jam is hard for us. It's all relative. But the trouble is that right now I'm stuck in a traffic jam in Himachal, while you guys are going to a mall for freakin 'Ice Skating' in an AC. Sustainability is a word that was derived for wasteful people to waste in a way that makes them feel ok about wasting. Real sustainability left this world a long time ago.
    The only good thing about this traffic jam is that I could roll one,, and wow it was good. Sorry for the gyaan! :p

    If this is a review, then you should not have visited this trek. Be grateful to yourself and consider yourself a lucky man because of what you have seen. Regarding the other things you mentioned, it's overcrowded because this trek is one of the best treks in the world. The damage has been done by people like you throwing garbage here and there. It's your fault, not someone else's. If you don't like overcrowded treks, try visiting the greater lakes, which are less crowded and less explored."
