Hi Ed, defo eeb territory. That drop is super chill, you pretty much just roll off it at a jogging pace, hit the berm and take all the speed you want into the ski jump. Not been there for about 2 years but it looks like not much has changed except the leaves hiding the trials. You'd actually like that road gap too on Balboa, but its worth seeing it ridden first or get a tow in just so you can judge the speed and where to aim for the landing, off memory you want to avoid landing to much to the left as the landing kinks to the right. Ride it like a jump rather than a drop and it just feels better
@@Gaz_511 yeah that drop did look fairly chilled when I saw others do it earlier that day but by the time I'd worked round to it everyone else had disappeared and I didn't want to risk an OTB with no - one around. That road gap is a bit more challenging and never saw any one do it! So maybe next time....
i really enjoyed this place, only been twice. only thing that put me off was the people pushing/riding up the trails 😑 nearly hit 2 blokes on the one trail and they looked at me like i was in the wrong. certainly wont be going back on a weekend again.
Definitely a place I want to go back to. Only managed a few laps as we'd done all the red and blue and was dying on the push up😂 Looks like you were flying on some of those runs 🤙
@@Mark_Page_MTB yeah I was really surprised at how long and steep the push up track was. The eeb really is the tool for getting the laps in and getting to grips with new terrain!
