I've taken my old Kona hardtail round these trails a few times as its my local, always a fun time until you gotta head back up that hill to the top! I've also done the big road gap at 1.35, scary stuff on a hardtail! Great vídeo by the way!
There’s a better push up which is where you went past that post in the ground near the bottom of red course. It goes straight up the hill from there and crosses red course again at the 180 degree berm. Then isn’t that steep from there up to the top. Far easier doing that all day than that horrible fire road!
Ive been going to stile cop for many years and still get cofused with lines in some section alll in all a greaat place with a killer climb up especially with a DH rig lol
Been there 3 times on my hard tail (don't quite trust my full-sus budget Jamis Faultline) and those roots are definitely taking their toll on your body. Still tons of fun tbh.
The car park is on google maps then you ride out the car park, turning right on the road then down the hill a bit then left onto the gated fire road. Straight up that and you’re at the trail head bud 👍
What a place to ride. With loads of interesting lines and epic features, there is plenty here for a great days riding.
Nice work, easily one of the best vids on this place.
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it

Nice work doing it on a hardtail. Perhaps I need to take mine there.

Great channel by the way mate!
I remember when there was only a few dh tracks and hardly no trees at the top!

Awesome, I need to take mine there.
Great place to ride dude. I went for the first time around a month ago. Plenty of variety to suit everyone
Yeah it is a great place. Can't wait to go back!
Even better when you make your own trail
What pads are you wearing bud
Depending on where I am riding I either use my 7IDP Flex pads or my Fox Enduro D30
Have you got Strava route for this ?

Great edit thanks for posting. Check out 'Trails don't pay Bills' channel for sending & crashing big road gap on Balboa.
Yeah I have seen a few of their videos on it. That gap is a big distance and a huge step down streight in to a berm. Might give that feature a miss.
don't recommend riding this on a hardtail, tad sketchy hahaha
