    I have the larger version and it's a great minimal, overnight bag. I can even fit my 12.9" iPad Pro in it too. I just got back from a trip to Sweden and used it to stuff with packing cubes and then into my carry on. The blockiness of it is great for that. Let me know if you want to use it for review, as I'm located very close.

    Shit, man, they just dropped this bad mother in Horween cobalt blue Dublin leather. I've got their Recon Mini and a Venue, but might have to snag one of these as well. Sick review!

    Another very cool review and superb looking sling...what a looker this one is and I see they have a version with orange interior (my fave). I think I'd go for a few "Mr. Grippers", by the way. I have a horween watch strap that is like butter. I like that very classy dark brown touch when a bag is all black to give it pizzaz, too. I'm starting my savings plan to grab a Defy next. Tomorrow, my white Loculus from Kargo arrives so I should be fine waiting (a little anyway) on the Defy. I went to their site and the 10L version is calling to me even more! Side note (and I really hope you accept this comment in the way I mean it): I enjoy you now showing how packs look on you and I especially like your John Travolta-like version of Staying Alive. I do wish you played that Bee Gees song in the background instead of that porn sounding music though. :)

      LOL the music was terrible for sure. My white loculus came today and I LOVE it.

    Hey Clint! Okay, that's a cool bag! But for me, it's a total no go. I'm no fan of that strap. I'm a big dude with a shorter neck and those super thick padded straps are not comfortable to me. It feels like it digs into my neck. Also I love to manipulate my bag from back to front. I grab what I need and sling it back to my back or side (I wear my slings a bit lower almost like a satchel). I just received my Alpeka Tech Case and it has the thinnest strap of all of my slings and I absolutely love it. I find it super comfortable. So yeah, strap aside the Defy Insidious Jr. is a cool looking bag.

    LA Police gear has the Zombie Killer bag, it's been around for 10 years. This bag is basically that with an unnecessarily beefed up strap. And Greenroom has a bag like it too now.

    Joint for my money you are the expert on bags especially green room 136. I'm in love with the genesis bag and I want to wildcard it with the lid pockets video is everything only its no longer in the wild card do you think they will be putting it back in the wild card eventually.

    Great review and cant wait for that dyneema review incoming (could it be a full size insidious?). How do you compare the insidious jr vs the Greenroom metro monger?

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the Metromonger is superior - but also it is bigger and bigger feeling - the insidious Jr is less to fuss with and carry about

    Clint, for rainy areas, do you think the XPAC material holds up well (e.g., can I walk around without 'baby sitting' the bag in the rain for a 30 minute walk?). What about the dynema version? Does one fair better than the other?

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! Yes - I actually really like XPAC in Rainy conditions. I find it to be really water resistant when combined with aquaguard zippers. I think Dyneema is coated with waterproof when new - but I’d say that may wear off over a long period of time? I’ve only owned a few dyneema bags - I have a LOT of experience with XPAC bags and rain.

    • @ThePerfectBag

      Don’t sleep on this one (if you like camo) - last one - water resistant cordura outer with xpac interior…neat colorway. defybags.com/products/insidious-jr-sling-rogue-camo-multicam-black-cordura-fire

    • @jordanl483
      @jordanl483 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah I've been eyeing this one, the fire edition, the XPAC, and the dyneema. I really want something that I can take out in the rain and not worry about my expensive electronics getting wet.

    • @jordanl483
      @jordanl483 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the response, Clint. The XPAC one is out sale right now (as is the camo CORDURA one you pointed out). Do you think the waterproof-ness of the XPAC and CORDURA is comparable?@@ThePerfectBag

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would guess it would be similar given the quality of Defy bags…but maybe message them directly or call them in Chicago and ask them directly for advice on best waterproof version of the bag. That’s what I’d do and they seem to really care about customers getting exactly the right bag.
