Little Nemo: The Dream Master is a Capcom platforming game from 1990. The game revolves around a young boy named Nemo, who can travel to a place known as Slumberland when he goes to sleep. Nemo can ride certain animals if he feeds them candy, each animal can give Nemo abilities that help him traverse through each level.
This new TAS is an improvement of about 00:32.91 seconds over the previous run (tasvideos.org/2830M). Read the authors' comments (tasvideos.org/7112S) for more details.

Having watched every improvement on TASVideos, I can safely say that this is a game that grows on you. The music is absolutely astounding and the graphics are very charming. I might actually play this sometime in the future.

Great run. Gives me a lot of nostalgic vibes.
I hated this game initially when I got it as a Christmas present at the age of 10, because I didn't understand its mechanics. After figuring those out, I played it every day until I was able to beat it in around 30 minutes.
... playing The Eye of the Tiger in the background the whole time, if I remember correctly... 🤔😆

I remember playing this game before watching the movie and it was so cool seeing all these scenes animated in such a strange (at the time) style. That movie and this game were some of my favorites as a child LOL so much nostalgia.

I literally didn't even know there was a movie companion to this game until a few years ago. Honestly this game doesn't even need it, it's such a stand-out title in so many ways. Wish more people had the chance to play this underappreciated masterpiece.

@@bernardnelson3105 There was a movie and an arcade game based on the movie by Capcom as well. Similar to the movie *Willow* where Capcom also made an NES and Arcade game based on the movie.
Little Nemo originally was a newspaper comic strip from 1906, which is why the game takes place in that year. Coincidentally, this game's level design takes greater inspiration from the comic strip, while the arcade game is more faithful to the movie.

Когда вручили посох я подумал: неплохая дубинка. Замочил её пингвина, а вот со вторым босом возникли проблемы: была только одна позиция с которой можно было подпрыгнуть и достать его ударом. Usually that's because JP text is more compressed than EN text (fewer characters). But the only unskippable cutscene is the one after level 7 (and it takes roughly the same amount of time), and tricks are used to avoid the conversations at the start of each level.

Fast-forwarding 40 years later, I can picture a middle-aged Nemo becoming a Grandmaster of Dreams! But to achieve that title, he would have to face his biggest challenges yet. That and his wife would have to put up with his nighttime gigs out of bed in the middle of the night, the way his mother did when he was a little boy! 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nah, the lizard just has a very tiny hitbox. It can fit in a one block high gap. And the spike ceiling is a bit janky.
