Laura and Aaron, not only do I think you made the right decision, I think you are setting an example for people in and around your age. I've noticed that a lot of younger people think that this disease is only going to effect the elderly and are not paying attention to the precautions that are being given. I believe all ages should be mindful of the climate right now, so I thank you for setting a good example.

It’s better to stay safe. We had a crew that was leaving March 20th to Portugal. Volunteers helping to build a house for a community. I was one of those volunteers. The organization canceled the build and the airline is not allowing a refund/rebooking without a huge cost. Sooooooo... with that said...
I just planted 87 veggies/annuals/perennial seeds. When ya can’t beat them.... JOIN THEM!! I do have a question though. Should I put the dome on the containers? Or would the lights be ok??
Ps- I have the yellow sticks. Works amazing. Just would like to reduce the eggs. That’s my next step.
    Thanks 🙏

Hi there! I know this is a long shot, I never comment on TH-cam videos but March 22nd is my grandmothers 65th birthday. Her name is Kristy, She is a huge fan & supporter of yours! I wake up to the sound of your voice every morning because she’s up bright & early watching re runs of your videos & cracking up at your cats in the background. She doesn’t quite understand how TH-cam & comments work, so I’d love to see the look on her face if she clicked on one of your new videos & saw a Happy Birthday wish from you! ❤️ Thank you all for reading & God bless!

So I will let them do there thing this year but I think when I separate them this fall I'm going to have a huge amount of Peonies next year.

Laura, I feel the same way you do about the sound of a lawnmower - or even a weed eater. Even if you don't have flowers, shrubs, etc., but you have nice neat grass, I have ALWAYS appreciated people who do yard work. Even before I married, I was a single mom and took a lot of pride in how my home and yard were kept. I loved doing the mowing and trimming and making things look nice. Barking dogs drive me nuts as well, especially during the night. But I confess I have a little wind chime that sounds very pretty in the breeze. But my neighbor does have a bunch of giant ones that get quite noisy!

To the person asking about moving the peony’s. I moved mine a couple of years ago in the spring. They did fine but didn’t bloom for two growing seasons. So yes you can move them in spring and I don’t think it would matter if you moved them spring or fall, it will probably still take them a few years to rebloom.

I agree with you. Job of cameraman is as imortant and hard as the one working in front of camera. I make my gardening videos all by my self and just setting up the camera, taking different shoots, lightening, voice, focus everything takes so much time. I happen to make my camera and tripod dirty when I turn it on and off or move it around or even stumble on it etc. I also lost a footage couple of times when I tought camera was on but it had turned off accidentally. So many issues. I would love to have someone film and I just focus on my gardening video. But this is how it is. BTS job is not always appriciated but it is very important and skillful job.

Where I live all the neighboring lawns are one continuous lawn where you just mow to your property lines. The sound of the lawn mower means I'm gunna have to mow soon too. Can't have my lawn be shaggy while my neighbors have neat tidy grass. I can almost ignore it being shaggy if theirs is too. Plus I HATE mowing.

I must agree with your comment about loving the sounds people make when they're taking care of their yards and homes. Lawn mowers, chain saws, etc. are all music to my ears as well. It means that they care and that they are trying to improve their surroundings, and after all the hard work we've put into our outdoor space, I value that immensely! I have to say, though, that I truly dislike having to listen to someone else's music when I'm outside - working OR relaxing. If I want to listen to music, I will listen to my own choice of tunes. Like lawnmowers and chain saws! But barking dogs???? Just. Shoot. Me. !Hahahahaha!

We skipped the Seattle show for the same reason. Luckily we got our deposit back from the hotel.

Another reason why I LOVE Garden Answer - I can always use the search feature to help answer a question or solve a problem. I have whiteflies on my tomatoes. Thank you so much for your help! I will see if your suggestions work. I have never delt with whiteflies before.

I’d love to see a video dedicated to cat friendly plants. Maybe a miniature cat garden with catmint/nip to see how Russel, Cheddar and No react to it?

She created a kitty condo for Russell. Search through the videos for it. If you can't find it, one of us (Garden Answer nuts) will find it for you.

Hi Laura and Aaron! This was fun, as are all of the weekly Q&A's. I agree with dogs barking, but LOVE our wind chimes! We have 20+ windchimes on our deck, with different tones, but none really tinny. They are right outside our bedroom window and I love listening to them when the wind blows, plus we sit out there a lot. Thank you for sharing and answering the questions.

Great decision Laura on staying home. We don't know what this will turn in to. I myself am trying to stay away from crowds. Loved the video, full of Spring planting information. Thank you.

We have goat heads too!! We call them devil horns because of how painful they are. I'm going to tell the hubby about this stuff. My poor dog gets them the worst.

I got my husband to agree to going to the show in Boston, and then with the rising public health concerns we decided not to go. I was bummed that I’d miss seeing you and Aaron...but I guess I won’t now.

I'm with you on the windchimes! My neighbors have them and on windy days it sounds like the wind blowing through a junk yard. And re: "No-no:" my cousin's nieces and nephews call her Aunt Wee Wee because one of them couldn't say "Read!" when he was asking her for a story.
