My preference is 3/8 really anyway..i like that feature. Im running the astro nano sockets and found them to be tough..havent broken any yet with my impact.

I've got a Japanese driver (golf club) which takes a 5-point Torx bit. All I can find anymore is the 5-point security Torx-plus bits. The security part isn't important, but the torx+ bits don't fit the bolt exactly (although well enough to tighten and loosen it without damage). But I'm trying to not lose the bit which came with the club. The new driver I have uses a regular torx bit, so if I lose the little wrench that came with it, I won't care (the bit end is much less well-made than any of my bits - even the Ryobi ones! - so I wouldn't mind replacing the wrench).

Why are you taking your golf club apart?

I been thinking about getting these for my bmw and Porsche. I have snap on chrome on a in a few sizes but they are kinda long. Also just fyi I noticed the freight has new Quinn socket sets, the ratchets are 90 tooth and look suspiciously like gearwrench ratchets.

@@DaBossk I also bought it because I was driving a lot for work and that 800 mile range on the tank was nice. But without that job just didn’t need that anymore.

made the mistake of using a harbor freight 1/2 to 3/8 reducer to take out bed bolts and sheered off the reducer, any ideas of how to get it out?

Drill a hole in the center of the sheered anvil. Use a tap to thread hole. Thread a bolt in the hole. Clamp the bolt head in a vice. Use a punch to drive the socket off the sheared anvil.

I've had my set for about 10 years. It doesn't have anything to do with the Pittsburgh reducer set or Quinn or ICON, whichever you got... It was gonna break no matter what....
