I spent the whole afternoon in this canyon! The most wonderful place in Iceland to me! August 2019 i went. Magical! I don't know now, but back then, wasn't easy to find! Hadn't any sign.
Very good question. I haven't done Glymur myself, but I would say that this one is a little less touristy so you'll have a bit more privacy and serenity. Glymur is a more difficult hike and can be quite busy during the summer months. I will have to make a video there this summer!
Oh wow! I recently hiked and filmed this canyon myself, but in early April, so it looked completely different in the snow. Equally as beautiful, although I think I prefer it at the time of year you went... the greenery is so stunning! I guess I'll just have to go back... what a shame...
I was supposed to do this hike on my last visit to Iceland but fell way behind schedule and had to skip it. Every time I see a photo or video of it, especially one as beautiful as this, I get major FOMO. Oh well, just one more reason to visit again. :)
You should keep it a secret, instead of inviting tons of selfie gathering insta-nobs ;) It's the beauty of the secret that you can have this place for yourself instead of an overcrowded place like Gulfoss.

No proper signs lately... will have to drive there and see what has changed maybe this winter.
We just did a vlog of this in winter, it was epic. Loved this hike, was hard for us. Looks totally different In Winter ❄️ wow. I drank from the river.
Sounds great! I really wish I had visited it this winter too, it looked incredible when I was out there for surveillance with the Park Rangers
Just hiked here at the beginning of August! Definitely the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen!
It really is! Hard to believe there isn't even a sign in the vicinity to let people know about it. Hope it stays that way 😅
Today was the first time that I had seen and watched any of your videos.
I watched several, I liked them.
We're glad to hear that! Please come by anytime!
What a glorious sunny day! Wonderful scenery of the sheer vastness of the canyon. Stunning 😍
Glad you enjoyed it, almost time to see it in person!
Man,we loved this. Sent you guys a email about your drone footage. Really enjoying these videos
Awesome thank you! I got your email, will reply to you shortly :)
Amazing, would you say this is better than doing the Glymur waterfall hike or about the same? They both look awesome

My wife and I did both and I liked this one more than Glymur. Both are definitely worth doing though.
You both are great. Thanks for great hike.
Thanks a lot - really nice to hear it. Take care out there!
Love your Icelandic tans 😉 But even more stunning are the waterfalls and views from the top of the canyon 😲
It's a great place - you'll have to visit next time!

For sure - it's a gorgeous spot. Give us a shout if you ever visit :)
Múlagljúfur is a beautiful place, and on a day like that it´s a WoW ;-)
It really is! I really need to go back in the winter time when it's totally frozen up :)
Woooow, how many years did it take before you could experience a weather like that in Iceland? 😜 Stunning landscapes and waterfalls!!!
