To be honest swordsoul is a good deck and he plays a lot of consistency card, i think that the vesion with denglong are not good for the brick that necessitate. Soo yea a standard list can win with a bit of luck and skill.

Swordsoul is a deck that's very hard to make fall out of relevance because it's a type and summoning mechanic deck, more than an archetypal deck. All of its monsters are basically tuners and non-tuners in one, with very strong payoffs. They'd have to stop printing wyrms and synchro support to make swordsoul irrelevant.
I watched the video on mute so sorry if he explainedthese things but: why 3 vishuda most modern list all play 2. Why 3 magnut without a target to search? Why play vessel it adds consistincy to a deck that doesnt need it. No respect to the iblee lock in side or extra?
The reason for 3 Vishuda is to increase the chance to see it more just coz it’s just a great board break in my opinion almost every game I lost die roll I had it in hand, Also it was two magnut and one druise wurm and for the reason I have two vessel is so I can more guarantee the anti nib line I just don’t want to take the risk getting nib and yeah no respect for iblee lock if they have it they have it

Also the circle is insane when in a HT heavy format, but currently what does it provide over better non engine slots like TTT or even books
