Great video, and you look really strong. Do you only do calisthenics + squats? I'd be curious to see your personal training plan, or comparison to how you started vs now. Hope you keep making videos!

Thanks! I’ve been doing purely calisthenics for 5 years, but the latest year I’ve been doing weighted calisthenics as well - combining both endurance and streetlifting. Currently in the midst of making a video with insights into my traning plan 🙌

Jacob, this is a really good video. What would you classify the style of high rep calisthenics with high rep burpees that Iron Wolf and Moses Ceuvas does, I am assuming under "Endurance" but wanted to hear your take on it.
And how would you classify progressive calisthenics like different bridges, one arm pushups and pull ups, put them in basics same as single leg squats ?

      Thanks man, appreciate it! 🙏
Yes, probably under endurance. I’ve experienced having workouts with high-rep burpees a few times when competing in endurance 💪
One arm variations I personally wouldn’t classify as basics, but more as separate skills 😁 By that logic, I guess you could view single leg squats as a skill-variation of the regular squat, and that also makes sense. I’m not sure about bridges though, I haven’t really thought about that 🤔

Hey man, that’s a great question, and I will definitely make an in-depth video about this! The short answer is hypertrophy rep ranges - max out the dip, pull up and squat between 8-12 reps (and fit the added weight accordingly). These are big compound exercises and will hit all the muscle groups you need. As you can see in the video, freestyle and statics athletes are often smaller in statue, but streetlifting and endurance athletes pack a lot of muscle. Streetlifting athletes often have hypertrophy blocks before strength blocks. And a lot of recent studies show that very high reps till failure also helps muscle growth a lot - this is also why I gained a lot of muscle. Again, lots of dips and lots of pull ups and lots of squats. You can’t really go wrong if you train the basics till failure 🙌 And then of course there are factors like a small caloric surplus 💪

What about weighted statics and static endurance compination? 😅😅
