My first trip to Disney world when i was 9, and this ride was brand new. I was terrified. Standing in line with my brother and father, i was crying and overall just not having the best time, but one of the employees noticed me standing there like that and walked up to me. She introduced herself to my father and told him she worked on the attraction, and she looked at me and offered to take me behind the scenes, behind the employee door to see the control room with all the camera views of the ride and the operators controlling it. She explained how the ride worked, what it did, and then calmed me down by reassuring me it was not as scary as i had heard before coming there. After the little tour, she took us through a different employee door, that deposited us right at the front of the line. We rode the attraction, and i was able to enjoy it immensely because that employee took the time out of her day to make me feel comfortable enough to ride it. I doubt this woman (bless her, whatever she might be up to now) even remembers me, or that particular day. Looking back, she very well could have been risking her job doing that, but she helped me when i needed it, and i wont ever forget that.
That’s so crazy because I remember this one time I was working this ride and I saw this kid crying and I introduced myself to there dad and then I calmly showed them the control room to reassure the kid and then I took them to the front of the line and they did the ride with no problem and the kid ended up loving it
Just went on this ride yesterday. I am 100% AFRAID of roller coasters. The drops, the heights, I hate all of it, this ride was amazing though. I loved it soo much I wanted to go on it again. Super fun and not as fast as it may seem. If you have the chance to go on it, please do, you will most definitely regret it if you don’t🙃
I was a cast member when this ride first opened! Wow, has it changed. Can't believe there is still a mess under the track! That was 20 years ago, at least!
@@milaesalam around that. I was just amazed because I rode it on the first night for a cast member sneak peek and it was crummy looking under the track then and it is still yucky looking now! Fun ride tho'
The original theming of this was SO much better. It was supposed to be a crash test devolopment of a car type thing and now it's some wacky future crap
Actually the ride isn’t too bad, instead of being a crash dummy the ride is presented as a car simulator, fitting the Epcot theme slightly more, now obviously I miss the old one but I thought the visuals were cool
I wonder how good Test Track would be if the top speed were increased to 100 mph. A good alternative would be to add floater airtime hills to the straight sections.
Man.. I used to be able to go to Disney World a lot but when we moved away from Orlando and COVID started I haven't been there since then. I miss this ride so damn much.
I went to Epcot today, I was so excited for this ride but when the time came to go on it I got very nervous and started crying. I asked my brother and dad to go on it first and then tell me what it was like. They said I don’t think you’re going to be able to go on it after, but i was so scared I didn’t care. After they went on, I started having immediate regrets. When I was sure they were almost done with the ride, I went to the test track opening and sat at a bench. I still had hope that I could go on it. The line was past the gate. I started crying although that sounds stupid, I did so much research on this ride and was so hyped to go on it, but of course I couldn’t because of the long line. It never went down and I’m STILL mad at myself. I also know I’m not going to Disney any time again soon. Please, don’t make the decision I made. This ride is amazing, I know I would of enjoyed it.
Not really drops, but it can be very aggressive with the jerking/braking and the video didn’t properly show just how fast the outdoors portion is. Also, it has a similar height limit as tower of terror, he may not be tall enough.
Hm, I went in early 2017 and this wasn’t there, because I vividly remember the semi-truck coming at you! Best part of the previous remodel in my opinion
BREAKING NEWS: Test Track is closing on June 17th 2024, this year for another significant refurbishment inspired by the lost extinct World of Motion ride. Although EPCOT might never resurrect World of Motion, being inspired by that ride of the past is good enough for me. I also wonder if it’s possible that in the meantime, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open at the Magic Kingdom at the meantime while It’s Tough to be a Bug has its very last performance for good to make way for a Zootropolis 4D show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
When i went the 1st time to ride this It was getting revamped it was the old design then when i went last week it was all new i was like they changed everything
I’m pretty disappointed with Disney what they done with the ride. Test Track used to be my favorite ride. Now it doesn’t look the same I miss the crash dummies and the 18 wheeler. Disney you continue and continue to disappoint probably why I haven’t been to Walt Disney World in over 15 years…
It’s not really a coaster but its really fast! Plus I cant tell from the video whether it launches you or gradually accelerates, and you might feel the drop as it leaves the building. Id still probably be too scared for this lol
Radiator Springs type ride but with lame, non-Disney themeing. Just watching this, the dark ride portions are nowhere as good as Radiator Springs outdoor section, especially at night. I think I can skip this one.
Watched the old version of this test track which was way better, this is just a plain modern track that trys to wow you with a little bit of neon lights! Boring! 🥱
I hate roller coasters but this changed my mind. Right now it’s considered the fasted ride at Walt Disney (don’t believe me,google:what is considered the fastest Walt Disney world ride.)I loved it so much! And now I can basically go on anything there if I can do that ride since it’s the fastest.(it’s definitely on the top 6 of my list of :most favorite rides 1-10 6 in each number). I definitely consider riding this one. But if you get motion sick or car sick I consider either waiting for your group to get off or not go on at all if it’s just you. You can also take medicine like a pill or chew able (if your young I consider dramabean or Bonnien. (Sorry idk how to spell it).this ride is also cool because you get to make your very own car! You can put cool designs on it and color it! It really is a cool experience! Yes the line might be long but for me,it’s worth It! And if you have a sickness you can get the fast pass and skip the line. It may be 5 minutes but at least it’s not 60. I really like it. I consider you try it out! (If you haven’t done it already!). Try it out! Bye :)!
They screwed the theming of this ride up! Old one had far more character and was superior in every way. The re-skin of this ride looks like futuristic Tron junk…
maaaan they dumbed up this ride. it used to be more test dummy themed and the inside part wasnt so dark. it also had this cold/hot section where you go thru dramatic temp changes. and the door at the end before you go outside was closed until last second. that part really made you shit your pants. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

The launch for 64MPH is just the best🙌🏻🔥🤣
ONE OF MY FAVORITE RIDES!
YES TEST TRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the old version better, this looks like a Tron ride rather than a vehicle test.
Exactly what I was thinking, and they removed the crash test "twist"
Oh my gosh this ride is so fast!
Hahaha I remember the on star sound when I had an accident in my Chevy what a cool add in as it was sponsored by chevy
I only watched because I am going to Epcot tomorrow
Did this today, so fun but a very short ride. I had to wait 45 min but for a first time it was worth it I guess

I get really bad motion sickness, but I think I'd love this ride 😅
You would love it I have very bad motion sickness and I loved it
I LOVED this ride. I would go back on it a million times. This ride alone would make me go to disney world. It's just that good.
Ok say how do y’all manage that on this ride because I’m afraid of that
I remember doing this in 2017, my one design nearly took top of the day but was like a point off.
If anyone’s curious what the best spot to ride on is, it’s the front row of the car on either of the sides. (Not the middle)
Anyone know if there are any drops that will give your tummy butterflies? I wanna take my 5y son on it
Not really drops, but it can be very aggressive with the jerking/braking and the video didn’t properly show just how fast the outdoors portion is. Also, it has a similar height limit as tower of terror, he may not be tall enough.
Spaceship earth and test track on top!!!
I be screaming on that ride when I go back to dseny😂😅😂
I noticed they took out the crash test scene
When did they update this ride? I think 2011 was the last time I was on this ride, but the updates look pretty cool to what it is now.

OK..At least I know now that this ride is not worth waiting 75 minutes for. Thanks for the vid.
Its not but always remember that videos dont show the full experience, its fun feeling the car going fast and taking turns and stopping in real life
