About 4 years back, I was at a restaurant with my family enjoying dinner. After the dinner was done, while leaving, we met Ranbir Kapoor at the door. He was just entering the restaurant. My sister recognised him and took his name which turned his head towards us. My father appreciated his acting skills and said he was a fan of his work. Ranbir stood patiently at the door smiling and replying to our questions. I could not believe that he was giving us a mini interview. Such a big star. Just after 2-3 minutes of interaction about him, his father's movies and about the restaurant, he said Jai Shree Krishna to us and wished us well. We responded. I was just taken aback by the guy's down to earth nature.
I still remember I met him at the Mumbai airport and I told him i am his big fan, he smiled and said " Thanks buddy, How are you?" I mean a star asked me how you are . He is really humble 🔥
My friend’s sister was returning from New York with her year old son. It was a direct flight and a long and tedious one at that, plus with a crying baby, she was hassled by the time they landed in Mumbai. At the baggage conveyor, people were jostling and she was finding it extremely hard to handle a toddler and look for her bag when she felt a tap on her shoulder. A young man had brought her a trolley and asked her if she could spot her bag on the conveyor, he’d unload it and put it on the trolley for her. After doing that for her, she realised that that young man was Ranbir Kapoor. She asked him for a picture, he happily obliged by holding her baby in his arm and putting the other arm around her. What a man, RK!
There is something in this guy.. Every time I see him in his interviews I feel he is brutally honest and really humble.. Bollywood is yet to use him in his truest potential...& Never ever join social media.
Idk why everyone's pressurizing him so much to join social media. Social media is terribly overrated, I think it's really refreshing to see someone NOT on it.
When you remain silent in today's world, people make assumptions about you, and most of the time those assumptions are negative. That's the case with Ranbir Kapoor.
He's that one nepo kid that I don't mind supporting. His craft, his acting skills are proof enough that he's not just a nepo product but he truly deserves to be where he's standing now in his career.
What I like about Kapoor Jr is this: he is not in social media posting political nonsense on a daily basis and he doesn't go around giving a dozen useless interviews every week. Keeps his personal life personal and focuses on his craft. I appreciate that.
This man lost his father who he was really close to and he is still grieving. More power to him for handling the interview so beautifully. My respect continues to grow for the most humble and the greatest actor, of all time.
I hate when people place him in the same bracket as the untalented nepo kids like Ananya, Sara, Tiger, Arjun, Sonam and so on. Ranbir is an amazing actor and works extremely hard for his role and this is visible if you see his movies. Yes, he got into the industry from nepotism, but you can't deny that he is pure talent. He isn't like the other star kids who stay in the industry despite their lack of talent. He's in this industry because he knows how to act and is one of the greatest actor of our generation.
Yeah me too, It also bothered me when they say the same about Alia she's a wonderful actress her expressions are so good in acting it's not her fault that she has famous dad
Wake up Sid is one of the fav movie of his. Such a warm, sensible and respectful persona he radiates. He has a great connect with audiences even though he is not on social media. He speaks (acts) volumes with his eyes.
Alia and Ranbir both are lucky to get each other as couple... But i feel Alia is more lucky to get such a matured, dignified, simplicity, kind and good hearted person And Ranbir is lucky for getting a girl who likes him from her childhood and finally both are together True love finds the ways to get together Happy for both of them and hope they will be staying together
Ranbir's stardom is insane, Despite being inactive for nearly 2 and half years.. He managed to be in the highlight. That's how you make an impact on people through your art, through your nature and through your words.. Ranbir has mastered them all... We fans will keep supporting you no matter what. It's a pleasure to be your fan! And you blessed us with this interview after nearly 908 days 😭😭❤❤ Forever grateful to pratham foundation!

You can tell how good of a man he is just by the way he answers these questions. There's certain passion in how he talks about his loved ones and his projects and I bet most of the audiences can feel it through the screen.
Complete package of sense, humor, looks, generous, accent, honest, knowledge, patience when repeatedly told about having a gap.. Great Talent worth watching. Luv u RK❤
There is something so soothing and truthful in Ranbir Kapoor which cannot be explained, he is so dedicated and humble, he keeps acknowledging he is privileged. Certainly looking forward to watching more of his films. Hands down the greatest actor of this generation.

One thing that he's successfully managed is keeping the mystique of stardom alive. Whether it's being absent on social media, rarely making appearances in front of the electronic media, or being evasive in general in the public eye. Which is no mean feat in a time when stars have made themselves so accessible to the public with a 24*7 social media presence and PR overkills. To not hog the limelight constantly and still keep yourself so relevant and interesting is really nothing short of great. In a way his style of stardom is anachronistic. It belongs to the golden era of Hindi cinema, the 50s, 60s and 70s to be precise.
You may or may not like him.. but you cant deny he is probably the best actor Bollywood has ever had.. I second this remark made by Ayushmaan.. my favorite.. it's great to see him after a long time.

The reason why we were literally waiting for him to be seen is the fact that he’s not on social media. Ranbir is smart, he knows how to create the impact and stardom on today’s generation the same way actors did it in the 90s.
