Here's what it says, "Thank you for all your kind comments i am humbled by your kindness even when I donot upload many people have asked for more videos and I have not made more I have no excuse I have just been lazy I hope you enjoy these practice videos " It was a very good video :D. For me it was a bit fast, took a bit going back again and again but I did it! Anyways, keep the helpful video's coming!
@@theguydudepants Man, I'm pretty bummed right now. I crushed my training app. I'm deciphering individual letters at 40 wpm. I figured I'll be able to translate sentences at 20 wpm... right? WRONG. So, humbled, I come down to 10 wpm... and embarrassingly I couldn't even keep up with this my first listen 😑 I've got a long, LONG way to go
@@thefancystache3793 Don't feel bad...same issue here. I learnt at a faster character speed but with exaggerated spacing, so 25wpm at an effective overall speed of 10wpm is just fine, but 10wpm actual messes with my brain as the characters themselves sound so different., Don't bother with slow - work on reducing the spacing with a faster character speed - The Morse Code Ninja has some great videos where he will give 15-50wpm character speed, and 2x to 8x spacing so you can work up on character speed and down on spacing as you progress.

Listening to this video over and over have ne my first breakthrough in three weeks. Granted it took me over four hours of repeating this video over and over and over for the words to show up. But several did. I’ve added the time bands so those who are trying to do the same you can cross reference sixty second intervals needed be. More videos like this I’m sure will help things along. It’s weird. I’ve learned to key it, and when I see the word I can hear it. But when I hear it I don’t know how to write it. And now that I’ve learned how to write a few simple words I’ve lost my tempo in keying it correctly. Lol. Can’t win I guess. Thanks for the video. I will return to it im sure. 73, KN4GEI
So, this being my first attempt at deciphering sentences and failing miserably, I think it might take a whole brain rewiring. You know how when you first learned the alphabet you listened to each little dot and dash... but then eventually learned to hear it all as one sound to make a letter? I think this is going to be similar where you start hearing entire words instead of individual letters... but we'll see.

Hi, thank you for making these videos. I appreciate the time it takes to make a resource like this. As a newcommer to cw, this was the ideal length and speed for me. I copied about 85%, and am delighted at that. Regards

Yeah, Jane. This is tough. It was my first time trying sentences tonight... I'm nowhere near as good as I thought I'd be 😢
