- A collection of Morse Code abbreviations and prosigns you can commonly hear on air for your listening practice. They are sent with my straight key at about 15 words per minute (WPM)
I am definitely not a CW master but still I hope it can be helpful to someone
How can I improve? What type of content would you like to see? Let me know in the comments!

The CW abbreviations and prosigns were not emphasized when i learned code. I wished it were, i would've had a much easier time learning code. Thanks, great vid! 73
I'm glad you like it! Totally agree
The key is made in Bulgaria! Best regards de LZ4RA
Yes, exactly!
If Q signal is followed by a question mark you are asking a question but if not followed by a question mark you giving an advise
really cool!
fantastic for practicing without any bla bla. Why VA for SK? grazie mille 73
When sent without any letter spacing VA and SK make the same sound, oftentimes both can be found in prosign tables with the same meaning of "end of transmission". I tend to copy it as VA, hence its presence in the video, SK (or even both) would actually have been better. Thanks for pointing out, 73
hay algun latino haca🤔
Can you tell us about that key? it looks vintage
It's a vintage Bulgarian key I got from eBay, then added a small base made from scrap plastic to raise it so to be more comfortable
@@IU4PRAlooks awesome! I just started my CW journey. Thanks for the video! Hope to catch you in the log.. but go slow for me!! I’m sending 12 WPM but my receiving is horrible
No worries, I will QRS if I hear someone slower. Don't give up, get on the air and keep listening to code, you will slowly build confidence
Nice fist.🙂
Thanks! I will keep practicing

Glad it helped you! I will keep practicing to improve my technique
I second that notion! Helpful for me also. Unnecessary I know but studying for extra and code at same time. Good luck 73
