Your oil blow by could be a couple issues. It could be a crankcase ventilation issue or the seals on the turbo are failing. I would see if the Mini has a PCV valve and replace it since it is a cheap maintenance item. If it continues...you may want to look at getting the turbo rebuilt. MHI turbos are easy to rebuild and any place that can rebuild it and blueprint & balance it should be able to. Forced Performance is reputable...they have been in the Mitsubishi/DSM turbo game for awhile so they are very familiar with MHI turbos. I have bought and sent a few turbos to them in the past....great quality work and reputable. The long continuous high rpms that the Mini is running on the highway is probably putting a lot of work on the tiny turbo. The old seals are past their optimal range of performance to do what they need to do. The Pajero mini is hilarious to watch but also impressive.....I am loving the videos!!
I almost wish that was me. Glad to see that vehicle in its element and that it's treating you well. I originally changed out the air filter and noticed some oil in there, too. Not sure what's happening there, could be an oil seal in the turbo spitting back through the boost relief, I don't know. Looks like a lot of fun was had, I'm looking forward to the next one.
That thing is impressively capable! It looks like the BOV output is where the oil is comming from. Could be PCV or worse like a inlet side oil seal on the turbo.
Fricking loving it
For anyone wondering, that final hill descent turned out to be 336 feet!

If it’s anything like a samurai it’ll be an absolute beast off road. I got a line on one and these videos are making me really think about it.
