Momentous is amazing it just needs more pyro but the story telling in momentous is just way better
I'm happy that they are making this castle really big because this is tiny and is the same as the original.
Tedious Totoro I heard the reason they made it really small was because China didn’t really allow this but said yes unless it’s not too big which kind of sucks since they now allowed a fully agreement on Disneyland in mainland China which is way Shanghai Disneyland is really big. Which is why they are changing honk Kong Disneyland because they are fully agreeing with disney

Disneyland Hong Kong was built when Michael Eisner was still CEO and Disney HK was treated as a budget park, that's why it had a small castle and only 4 lands at its opening. Now that Bob Iger is in charge they significantly increased the budget and the park has 7 lands and will have 9 by the end of 2023.

I remember when we went to Hong Kong Disneyland last 2015, We didn't saw the fireworks show due to bad weather. I kinda felt bummed though... So seeing this, I would want to go back and experience this soon. 😁😁😁

Oh yeah I was there last week. It ruined the show for me. I wish they would just take it in and enjoy the show! There is plenty of TH-cam videos just like these for them to watch afterwards! But for real just enjoy the show! You should just take in the magic and experience it! I enjoyed the show but it bothered me with all the phones , flash photos , and people taking selfies and stuff. I'm back in the USA now and I want to go back to WDW. But HK DL was very neat. I loved mystic manner and the mickeys wondrous book show.

Henry Sheffield I always record the fireworks with my phone when I go to Disneyland in California. I probably have about 6 or 7 different videos of the fireworks from all the times I have seen them.
Disney at Dark, thats fine. I just mean dont do it 24/7. just experience the moment and take it in with your eyes.

Actually this show Disney In The Stars is really an old show they just use the new projection and added some scenes to the projection...and i compare it to the old videos of this show that some of the fireworks didn't ignite and if im not mistaken actually the fire are actually 3 on the left and 3 on the right...but in this one only left are 2:2...suddenly i thunk wether its broken and HKDL didn't even bother to fixed it or reduce the fireworks since they will upgrade the Castle

pro tip: if ur at the back and can't see the fireworks, just look at someone's screen when they're recording. works pretty well although it makes the experience a bit worse :(((

we've been here last 2011, when point-and-shoot cameras are still hot. today taking videos are more convinient because we are in smartphone era. either way, i highly recommend to not record in any form except through memories.

Pardon the magic of castle for a while, there's other fun magic that is looking for you in Hong Kong Disneyland.
They're not just gone for the sake of it, they're literally rebuilding the castle, and it's finished, and the new firework show has started testing

no its already done but they deside to build another castle aka the castle of magical dreams it will be done this october or more

Imam Firdaus Its under rennovation. That castle exists as for 2017, but they started rennovating since start of 2018.

It's interesting to hear the reactions towards the actual fireworks coming out of the Asian parks. Considering gunpowder and fireowlrs come from China, I would expected the people in Hong Kong and Shanghai to be less impressed (yes I know Hong Kong is not part of China while also being part of China. It's a special circumstance, please don't tell me that I am being some sort of racist). I don't see much reaction coming from the American parks, except on the first day of the show. After that, people really don't react that much to the individual pyrotechnic effects; which is odd because our shows are much more lavish and bigger than this one. Yet, in every video I have seen of Disney in the Stars --- and the one in Shanghai --- the crowd reacts so vividly and awed by each starburst or cue or comet. I do kind of wish that happened in the American parks so that I know people are invested in the show. Sure, the people in the video are whipping out their phones and taking pictures, but they don't seem to let that be their focus, the way Americans do. That's a real shame because I think Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland are used at testing grounds for the bigger productions that are sent to the American parks so they're getting the bare bones of the shows and lovong it while we get the full course and don't seem invested. This isn't a rant on American culture, but I do wish that we can turn this around and get a lot of awesome crowd investment and reaction just like they do in the Asian parks.
Here in Philippines, in which fireworks are also normal but still get great reaction when a firework pops.

@@pabloblocc Momentous is a very well done show, a lot better than Enchantment and the current one in Shanghai. I’m a Hker, I watched it more than 10 times and I am still loving it.
