Salmon Fishing Bonanza at Sheringa Beach

The second day of my trip to the mid west coast of S.A. saw me try Sheringa Beach after the first day's success at Locks Well. Although not visible when I first arrived just after dawn, I soon spotted a considerable school of Australian salmon very close in to the beach.
I had the beach to myself and what followed for the next couple of hours was some of the most consistent salmon fishing that I have ever experienced!
Although the fish were not the big ones I was hoping to catch, they were great fun and at one point I caught 17 fish in 17 casts - this is how fishing ought to be!
