    Only one of these Panther idler arm replacement videos that clearly describes the frame mount bolt and nut head sizes - well done.

    Everyone that makes videos about panther car suspension repair (with the exception of 1A auto) you can never tell what they're talking about, you're very good.

    Great vid. Especially the last part where that collor was stuck. I was so confused trying to put the new part on. 💯

    I missed the part where you actually put the idler arm on… you talk about installing it but then the video skips and the idler arm is on! Just saying because I’m kinda stuck where two bolts are not lining up

    Well hell... my 1999 Marquis has SPLINED BOLTS going through the frame. You use any thing to turn them and you'll screw-up the splines like I did after watching some of these TH-camrs that never bother mentioning that fact.

    Really good video Especially so since you also had to record it by yourself too! Really good lighting, nice, clear and smooth voice over and all too. Really well thought out. On that rusty link pin, if just replacing the bushings, instead of using a petroleum based lube, maybe try a high temp Silicone lube. Some high temp silicone brake pad lube should do it. It''s designed for under the hood use anyway. But like you say, if the arm assembly is about the same price as the bushing, and has those greasible "Zerk" fittings, why bother. Smart!!! TY!!!

    straightforward and no BS. thank u, i subscribed. i would suggest maybe a tierod puller for 16 bucks at advance to help get that arm off the relay rod. its a multiuse tool u will use again. also, have a magnet ready in case one of your bolts falls off into the frame when u take the two nuts off. very helpful video. thank u.

    I'm putting moog parts on everything so I'm just down to the idler and pitman arm that's loose. I replaced everything else except the sway bar bushings because rock auto says there's about 4 different size bushing diameters. Also RockAuto has really cheap pickle forks for like $10. I bought one but I'm going to order another because using two at once makes hammering then apart easy

    • @HillBillyBrown
      @HillBillyBrown 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I feel like moog is a waste, its like buying expensive designer clothes when you could get the same thing for less.

    • @jaygamble9881

      PB Blaster, if that doesn't work try map gas and pliers, last result would be a cutoff Wheel to split it and a flat screwdriver to help separate it
