How to install hardwood floors as a beginner. In today's video, I'm showing you how to install click lock floors! This click lock hardwood flooring installation was so easy as a beginner. I'm taking you through the steps of how to pick out kitchen floors, how to remove the trim, how to install these click lock floors and what tools you'll need. This floor installation was easy enough especially for my first time installing floors. I take you through my flooring mistakes and how I was able to fix them. This is part 1 of my kitchen series! After living with click together flooring for 21 years, I would go with the vinyl. If you get too much water on the floor, the boards with split. Lesson learnt. Great job, though!..👏🏻👏🏻

What size wall spacer did you use? 2x2 or 1x2

I’m not sure! But removing the trim along with the spacing thats recommended help for when the floors expand. You don’t want them to buckle or warp. This is one of those things that may be annoying but highly recommended from when I did the research.

Next time try a flat crow bar, more leverage and its still thin enough not to damage the trim.
