I have a yamaha waverunner 1100 that I need to sleeve... can I heat up the cylinder to remove old sleeves out??? Or I need to bore them out??? Thanks... great channel....
The Beam equipment cutters work great. That's what I use with standard carbide inserts. Using braised tooling you need to sharpen after each pass thru plating

Is this typically cheaper than just having the cylinders replated?
@user-ym9wb2mk5e NO. It's around the same, maybe a little more. BUT it can handle way more boost and can be rebuilt multiple times.
i have a ultra 250x Kawasaki what do you charge to do this

Any consideration for cutting through the nikasil, insert choice? Change out insert after the plating is gone?
I use indexable tooling. The Standard inserts are fine
