True most front page games are mediocre Difficulty Chart Obbies, snoozefest simulator and rng games and bad roleplay games with no real substance to them. Which is also why actual good and advanced roblox games like JToH get so unnoticed.

Very true I've been developing for about 4 years, and I admit I was terrible back then. Scripting is a big part of what you have to do since customization is as you said very limited. Considering I'm making a car game it is so hard with the scripting, meshes, and more since you have to use at least 50 meshes.
No, it’s because it’s a kids game so most are brain rot and the good games are just worse versions of other games. Ex: battle bricks is considered a hidden gem, but is a worse version of battle cats. Games like jtoh go unnoticed because it’s not beginner friendly so most ppl just quit immediately.
before clicking read more i would like to say that battlecats is still a great game and this reply is NOT meant to say anything bad about it. the designs are great as well as the game itself are the reason people play it, and im just here to say that battle bricks has things that battle cats does not have. PREPARE FOR THE ULTIMATE YAPPANISE! battle bricks still has other features such as ablities (battle cats do have abilities but only chances and levels to make them different? in my opinion to make them better and comparable to the ones in the battle bricks: make them look different than just being the same for every enemie, make them occur every that attack instead of chances, make surge's width more different and add a animation when they are gonna do it, but all aside, i dont think them looking always the same every enemie and boss), phases (example: Doombringer (the final boss of chapter 1) has 2 abilities that occur every 2 attacks, one that does 2x damage and one that gives enemies armor, and a second phase that occurs at 25% hp, making doombringer slam his hammer creating 6 shockwaves and remove his armor and his abilities for 4x walkspeed and a quicker attack that does less damage and does not AOE that much), a mode that literally makes everything harder (as well as changing how bosses work, doombringer becomes deathbringer who has no armor but much higher damage), traited mechanics (example: the newest trait, black, instead of just having high attack power they have a cool skull that when that battler gets hit enough by the trait they take huge damage), cannons? yeah add banks too (ignition does not increase money per second but walkspeed and attack speed) and a lot more, some to come by the moment. if you prefer your same opinion.. *ITS YOUR OPINION AND MANY OTHER'S OPINIONS, HAVE YOUR OPINIONS*
Its so hard to work on my games when im the only one working on and it as well seeing the other games take the lead when they arent even making that good of games, you could say "oh but some of these are good and original" i would just ask where they are
true. I usually stick to the games I play. I cant branch out to different gwmes because the discovery page is useless and riddled with qnime games. Anime games are fine, but theres too many on the front page.
