Imagine being Chris.. it seems that Ian wants a more private down to earth and grounded life.. social media isnt reality and i think Ian just wants privacy and doesn’t care about social media and followers etc whereas Chris does and wants to create content etc. All seasons come to an end.
OMG I was totally thinking the EXACT same thing... Chris's expression, the look on his face just says it all... and Ian for some reason seems kind of bright and happy. I’ve never left that comment or said anything about it because we only see what’s on camera, but to now see them breakup and both of them together in this video - Ian is disconnected, and that’s the lightest way to put it. I feel for the both of them, but it’s obvious that Chris is broken and I truly hope that he takes the time to heal from this. I worry that Ian’s explanation of them not being together, romantically, but still being close, will be hard on Chris to move on. I wish the best for the both of them.
Who are we kidding, it's an end. They will eventually move on and have fully separate lives to attend. They'll probably have a few get togethers here and there, but that's it.

I think this break up affected both of them. I'm sure Ian takes it hard as well. I just think Chris puts his emotions on display, this is who he is. He showed this side of himself to us many times. I think the age difference could be a bit of a factor. Ian seems more confident in who he is and I think Chris is still searching. I think Chris has some things he needs to sort out by himself and I’m sure Ian will be there as a friend. They really do love each other, but the timing may be off.

I knew deep down that something was off with you two. Chris and Ian, this is for both of you, don’t feel pressured to be something you’re not or live a life you don’t want to have. Many people see you as online personas, tiktok legends, that wholesome gay couple, but in reality you’re both as real and human as each and everyone of us that watch you, many may forget, but many (including me) realize that. It’s ok to take a break from social media, it’s ok to not do everything the world demands, it’s ok to do choices that you feel are best despite being hard ones. I felt what Chris' felt because i also went through such a tough breakup from my 5 years relationship with my boyfriend & it took me 2 years for me to be able to recover from all the sadness that took over me. I didn't know what else to do after he left me, but thankfully the breakup happened a few years before the pandemic hit the globe.

Speaking from joy and love? Wanting the audience to be okay? It's all the right thing, but it's not realistic because people have hearts. Dont say that Chris, I know you're just agreeing with Ian because he thinks this is the right thing to do. But you're hurting and yes you will always be "friends". But it hurts that this ended! Feel that please because you've always showed your fans your feelings. I had an ex just like Ian. And although my ex was rational and understood love. He never provided me the love IIIIIIIIII longed for in my heart emotionally. It wasn't till the end that I realized I was more then someone who was meant to be understood intellectually. I was a human who longed for love. Perhaps I'm crazy but there's times you two would talk PUBLICALLY about breaking up and ian would say "well I'd have to move on and be mature." And then you would agree. And although that is rationally true and functional it's also okay for you to long for someone to stay. Just because it's the right way to move on, doesn't mean that you don't exist in the present going through this. Chris. It will take so long. But when you're ready again. Find someone who won't just think and talk and advise you but also will love you the way that tiny precious heart whose been through so much has longed for.

the way things escalated. it was all just fun at first. i started following you on tiktok, which helped me survive the early stages of the pandemic when things were particularly hard for me. then it just became normal to have you in my daily life and have me live so much joy vicariously through you. i wasn't expecting things to end so quickly altho there were times when I thought, what if things don't work out tho, how is that going to go. you were so many people's favourite (gay) couple. I'm not going to lie, i kind of dreaded this moment and I'm sad it's here. still I do wish you didn't have the public to deal with on top of everything else. breaking up is hard enough. and I hope it is of some consolation to know that many of us really do wish you well and maybe you can use as a form of support to see you through doing what is best for you. much love to you.

I didn't know what else to do after he left me, but thankfully the breakup happened a few years before the pandemic hit the globe.

Speaking from joy and love? Wanting the audience to be okay? It's all the right thing, but it's not realistic because people have hearts. Dont say that Chris, I know you're just agreeing with Ian because he thinks this is the right thing to do. But you're hurting and yes you will always be "friends". But it hurts that this ended! Feel that please because you've always showed your fans your feelings. I had an ex just like Ian. And although my ex was rational and understood love. He never provided me the love IIIIIIIIII longed for in my heart emotionally. It wasn't till the end that I realized I was more then someone who was meant to be understood intellectually. I was a human who longed for love. Perhaps I'm crazy but there's times you two would talk PUBLICALLY about breaking up and ian would say "well I'd have to move on and be mature." And then you would agree. And although that is rationally true and functional it's also okay for you to long for someone to stay. Just because it's the right way to move on, doesn't mean that you don't exist in the present going through this. Chris. It will take so long. But when you're ready again. Find someone who won't just think and talk and advise you but also will love you the way that tiny precious heart whose been through so much has longed for.
This right here! Not trying to say Ian is toxic or anything but there is a difference between intellectualizing love and actually feeling and doing it. I feel like they illustrate that binary without realizing it. We obviously don’t know or see everything but you put out a persona enough and you start to become it and perform it un-ironically .

the way things escalated. it was all just fun at first. i started following you on tiktok, which helped me survive the early stages of the pandemic when things were particularly hard for me. then it just became normal to have you in my daily life and have me live so much joy vicariously through you. i wasn't expecting things to end so quickly altho there were times when I thought, what if things don't work out tho, how is that going to go. you were so many people's favourite (gay) couple.
I'm not going to lie, i kind of dreaded this moment and I'm sad it's here. still I do wish you didn't have the public to deal with on top of everything else. breaking up is hard enough. and I hope it is of some consolation to know that many of us really do wish you well and maybe you can use as a form of support to see you through doing what is best for you. much love to you.
