Seems like a white wash of the truth. Van Halen treated Anthony like crap all for nepotism. Eddie was a cruel dude with a drug addled mind. Paranoid and lost in substance abuse over a lifetime.
@@timfleming5752 I agree and disagree. Wolfgang wasn’t around during 81 when Eddie in Guitar World I believe said he didn’t do much creatively. Was wanting to replace him way back then. I’m not defending Ed, just stating facts. Then in 84 the other 3 took away writing credits….so not sure why this truly happened, other than addiction on all 3 of them, as Roth could party too. I knew it was Ed on a lot of Balance, and VH3 and those two tracks or three tracks from BOBWks compilation. Wolf was more like a rhythm guitarist/bass player…but he could sing, it just wasn’t M.A….i mean who is. Love Wolf, and he’s talented, and can imitate his father quite well co oared to so many others, but I agree he’s not “The Mighty Van Halen”……ADKOT showed that. He drove that bus, and Dave wasn’t a huge fan, and although I loved the album…it was nostalgic, not new, or raw and way too bassy. Though some of the reworked lyrics weren’t bad. I guess Sam and Dave both thought the same for once, although I did think You and Your Blues, and As Is(which they wrote with Dave back as far as 2000) were fresher. Wolf does his own thing, and it’s too bad that substance got in the way of ego’s calming, and light of day shining through to what was truly an amazing band in its original form. IMHO. I agree with you. It’s hard to hear your hero being not so nice to people that were very loyal, and M.A is very loyal. Rock on!
@@Norbert6677 No. he’s talented, but VH was the sum of its parts…not in spite of anyone, where as second incarnation I felt and still feel that 2nd LSD sufferer should shut up and let go! Wolf is his own person, and it’s a whole different ball game. He didn’t have to spend a childhood paying those same dues that make relationships and chemistry with fights and such.l,,apples and oranges. Agree. Rock on! 🤘
Would love to see these two put something together
Yeah…..me too. I wish the guys with LSD could cure it for a tour and do this properly. Wolf on Guitar! He’s got Ed’s feel as close as anyone. ❤
They both can sing.
Is Wolfgang a girl
Van Halen with Wolfgang on guitar and Michael Anthony back on bass would be amazing. Wolfgang can play all of the stuff.
The fact that Eddie never got a proper tribute concert is criminal. Great band full of difficult people.
Where two or more gather in his name, Eddie is there also 🙂
I respect that.
Let's be honest. Wolfgang would be playing high school proms in a garage band if his last name wasn't Van Halen.
ahhh...AI voice. the voice of truth.
I like Michael Anthony hate Sammy Hagar ...............
Van Halen kid dosent even come close to the original band
He has never tried to "copy"... He's got his own way... and it's very good...
@@papitaz381thank you ! My thoughts exactly
