Christians are hands down one of the easiest demographics to take advantage of, unfortunately. Quality is disregarded a lot because "it's Christian and therefore good" so it often doesn't matter how good whatever Christian media you're making actually is, it'll still make decent money

"Traditional" Christianity does not involve sexism. Idk where y'all are getting those points from but men and women are equal on both sides. It's not targeted to "control women" Christianity is to find your faith in God, if you so choose not to follow him you are not condemned to rot. He's a teacher, not a controlling bf. That's why we have the bible to tell us stories of morals and life lessons it's your choice to follow those teachings, not anyone else's to decide for you. A lot of people respect other religions but then make fun of ours and try to twist our practices and beliefs. That's mainly why so many people get the wrong idea about our religion they've distorted people's views of us when in reality the main purpose of Christianity is to follow your path with God and live in good welfare. We are human after all which means we're not perfect. That is why we have a mentor to fall back on and teach us right vs wrong. Women are always (still) being praised for their "purity" (virginity) and seen as nothing more but whores if they've had sex before marriage. Idk how it is now, but my parent's generation (of women) were literally given classes on how to stay as "pure" as possible, literally telling women to obey their husbands. Of course, men were never given such crazy lessons.

Modern American Christianity basically requires an us vs. them mentality
“Art” made by Christians to promote their religion is not art.
I feel this way about Christian movies. The difference between Prince of Egypt (Not really a Christian movie, but still) and a series like God is not Dead is that one movie is depicts people finding freedom, power, and persistence in faith, and the other is focused condemning anyone who doesn’t believe.
And not to get too religious up in here, but as a person of faith, I think there’s a pretty obvious distinction between people who’s primary motivation is living their faith and revering God, and those who fear going to hell first, and love Christ second. They’re focused on not offending God by avoiding sin, rather than making positive change in his Name. I think a lot of Christian influencers (not all, I’m sure, but most I’ve seen) and those who want to be the “Christian version of popular artist” are the latter.

Speaking of Christian people speaking down to you, I was told by my baptized stepsister that I was going to hell just due to the fact that my parents disagreed about baptizing me so it didn't happen. As a Christian I have no issue with people making Christian rap even though I don't listen to a lot of it there are some good Christian artists but what I have a major problem with is when I see these "Christian" creators who use the name of Jesus to get clicks, subs, likes or cash the amount of times I've heard "If you scroll you love the devil, if you like and subscribe you love Jesus" all in an AI voice that says the most off base things pretending that Jesus said it. Or the if you love Jesus donate to the link below. It's disgusting and there's a reason Jesus said "it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven" and also said "What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"

Off topic but a tip for stinker issues I learned. I am transmasculine, and I started hormonal replacement therapy 3 years ago. It changed my BO significantly. I freaked! Violence and control have become the core tenets, and it’s just not something we can reconcile anymore. I no longer consider myself religious because I don’t feel comfortable saying I’m part of a Church whose official stances are abortion is murder and God doesn’t accept gay marriage, but I was raised Roman Catholic, and through all the religious trauma, the most positive thing I ever got out of it was the firm belief that if god does exist, he loves, accepts, and forgives me for who I am without judgement, and all he expects from me is that I try my best to do the same. People like this are honestly why I left the Church. The only time Jesus ever got angry in the Bible, was when merchants were setting up shop to sell things outside of Church to take advantage of people’s faith and goodwill and manipulate Christian faith to their benefit. Jesus didn’t want people to force their beliefs on others and judge others that didn’t share their beliefs. He just wanted people to respect one another without judgement. I feel like so many people who call themselves Christians have lost the plot on what Jesus’ main point was.
