I find it interesting how this close relation between Kenya and Ethiopia is.One of the reasons is because of the huge Oromo popluation in kenya and its sub-ethnicities; Borana, Gabra , Orma , Sakuye. Not forgetting that Parts of northern kenya was originally part of Ethiopia before colonialism. The history of Kenya is quite complicated, its like made up of pieces of its neighbouring countries😅, which makes it diverse...big respect and love to our Ethiopian brothers and Sisters 🇪🇹.

When was it part of Ethiopia? The British colonized the region and gave that territory to Kenya despite the wish of the inhabitants to join their brothers in somalia.. It's mostly inhabited by Somalis. Our abyssinian ancestors conquered various tribes, including the Somali territories but I don't think it included the Somali lands in what is now northern Kenya.
It's interesting you talk about Kenya being made up of pieces of it's neighbor's lands. But Ethiopia is the same. Each border region in Ethiopia has tribes related to the inhabitants of the border country. As much as Africans blame Europeans for creating faulty borders, we Ethiopians have done exactly the same by conquering all these different tribes that have nothing in common and separating brothers.
