R1 only pulled away on big open bends and straights....full on sports bikes have disadvantages on switchbacks....that's why mine is kept for the track and my maxi scoot and streetfighter get used on switchbacks.
i think if that was an R6 you might have a chance.. considering your transmission is CVT where all torque is available, you can beat him on corners. just an opinion... :)
Ik rij zelf 'n 650 Burgman en weet dat ze met de juiste rijder erop moeilijk zijn bij te houden met gooi en smijtwerk. Wel jammer dat je van al dat mooie natuurschoon links en rechts van de weg waarschijnlijk niet veel hebt meegekregen maar ik heb absoluut geen negatief commentaar op je rijstijl.

dalle immagini si vede che il burgman si impegna e pure molto per km andando molto forte ........cmq belle strade e gran bei curvoni ,da fare con una qualsiasi MOTO . Se ti sei offeso mi scuso ma mi è venuto spontaneo perché ne vedo molti ( specie di TMAX ) di Maxi Scooter che vogliono competere con moto velocissime ......buona vita .
