- If you are staying at Universal Dockside or Surfside on International Drive looking for somewhere to get supplies locally this vlog is for you. @Walgreens is a chain of shops primarily know as a Pharmacy. In fact, this chain has quite a well-stocked shop inside with lots of items that you may need on your holiday.
We take you in to show you the wide range of items available for electrical adaptors to sunscreen to pool accessories as well as drinks and snacks.
After our shop we head down to Miller's Ale House to meet up with some friends visiting from the UK. Millers is always a solid choice for good food at a reasonable price

Before I got my State handicap ID so I could park closer I used to do all my grocery shopping at Walgreens. Now of course since Covid stores are delivering groceries to your home or you can park and they bring them to you . Before those days I had a hard time walking big stores and parking lots. I am here to absolutely back you up on being able to feed your family and other needs you may have at Walgreens. Great video❤️

Great video. We stayed in Universal Dockside back in June for two weeks - nice hotel, but busy. We did quite a few trips to that Walgreens 😂
I have a video suggestion… could you record a video of how to get to Disney from that hotel, using public transport? Uber is obviously an option but it gets £££ if you did that twice a day.
We ended up catching an iTrolley down to SeaWorld (there’s a Trolley stop outside Walgreens). Then we got a Lynx bus from SeaWorld to Disney Springs ($2 each) and from there we’d get a bus to one of the Disney resorts (Free) and finally go from one of the resorts into whichever park we wanted to go to (Free). This took on average about an hour to an hour and a half per day, but the staff at the hotel didn’t suggest anything like this, only the obvious option which was to get an Uber.
There’s very little info on this online so I think that could be a helpful video as I know TUI use this hotel as part of their package holidays so is quite popular with Brits.

just wanted t o say this vid helped us decide weather or not to hire a car next holiday ,just rebooked but after seeing this , without car,we always have a car but after staying onsite doing universal this time didnt get off property much other than walmart for food and supplies,planning same trip with two more kids ,and now have managed to save nearly $700 not getting car hire ,parking and petrol,saw you guys from the lodge guys and now will be watching many more,thank you so much ,as brits its not always just parks that we need,we holiday a bit differently than the americans and the things we get excited about they have all the time,lol,again thanks for the saving and wish you guys much sucsess in your amercan adventures,

We did a clear out of our DVD’s at home and sold loads on a site that pays postage and gives you a very small amount but kept all the box sets we had to take to our villa in Florida. We bought an international DVD player very cheaply and can watch them when in Orlando. We watched the whole series of Auf Wiedersehen Pet on one visit and Lovejoy on our last.
That is a big Walgreens - must be the location. That was nice to see what all was available. Thanks for sharing. Fancy smart freezers - not seen those before. But one of our supermarkets had robotic delivery vehicles. They were great fun to see tootling about the neighborhood. You went online, placed your order and a robot was dispatched. They had a delivery range of 3 miles. It was funny at a 4 way stop - everybody stopped including the robot at the kerb and no-one would move first. It was a trial and we only had them for 3 months. They were called Starship Robots.

@@ThemeParkBazza I am. Expat Scot living in a town/city called Pleasanton which is stone’s throw from where your Tesla was probably built at the Fremont plant 😁 been living here for 26 years. There are videos posted on YT - put in Lucky robots Pleasanton and they should come up (Lucky is the name of the supermarket chain)
I assumed you were somewhere in CA, you are the most innovative as far as introducing new technology ( Yes my Tesla came from Fremont )

Great video we're staying in surfside we asked a driver on the i- ride trolley about thet store if they sold food an water he said ooo no it's only a pharmacy. Ended up in wallmart miles away. We ca see the store you were in . so never ask the drivers for advice. Look up you two. Thanks for sharing we know now if we are stuck.👍👍👍👍😉😉

Really useful Endless Summer is currently in our top choices for next May. We may not have a car this time for the first time in 25 years as prices are crazy still. That Walgreens would be very handy.
We usually stay on iDrive and that Walgreens is our usual port for provisions; we were there just a few weeks ago whilst staying at Dockside. We've found now however that it's better value to do a "big shop" and Walmart as you say and get an Uber there & back; plus they obviously have a much larger selection of goods!
Zinger Mountain melt, that was my first Florida meal last Friday at Millers on the 192 at Orange Town Centre opposite Rolling Oaks. Very tasty.
Great vlog as always, stayed at Dockside just a few short weeks ago. We found best value was to take an uber to Walmart

That has got to be one of the largest Walgreens in the US! It is twice the size of the Walgreens around the corner from me!
I suffer awful with travel sickness couldn't even go in to town on the bus without feeling sick! Used to use travel sickness pills to travel to florida but they used to make me drowsy and groggy for 24 hrs then i tried sickness bands didnt think they would work but omg there amazing! Seabands or boots own brand are brilliant ive travelled all the way to florida from Wolverhampton with them and never felt sick once and there also good for the 3D rides in the parks especially the simpsons ride!
Going to try the pills for Guardians at some point

We're flying in to Tampa and need a toll pass transponder (sadly they don't do the free Visitor Toll Pass that's available at MCO so we're looking for an alternative).
