That is a lot of work for one card but it was totally worth it! I love seeing you use dies in many different ways! I personally like to get lots of cards done at once but love watching how others create!

The dies are actually designed to let different colours show through in different places, so even with solid layers, you would get a similar look, but I'm all for mixing it up even more! lol! Thanks for watching, Kathya!

I think it was Mary Polanco who did a video about paper comparison in which she said that I think it’s the GSM that’s more important than the paper’s weight for thickness. I’m sorry, I couldn’t find the video.

Lovely card! I love autumn and it's colours. BTW...I'm sometimes thrown by paper weights, too. I wonder if your "110 lb." stock referred to a text weight of PAPER as opposed to a COVER STOCK weight? (I always have to look to make sure I'm not buying paper instead of card. Just a thought. Then again, I've purchased an item that was clearly labelled CARD STOCK when the actual item itself was clearly only PAPER. Maybe some producers need to double-check before labelling their packages. Who knows?) :-)

Haha! Yes, sometimes I like quick and easy, and sometimes, I like to put more into a card, like this one. I had planned the colours, the wreath and the flowers, the only thing that came to me while creating was how I did the sentiment on the inside. I usually start with a loose plan, but I let the design take me where it wants to go. Thanks so much for watching!
I totally did that the first time I bought Neenah cardstock. I couldn’t understand why everyone was raving about it! Paper weights are very confusing. I found some paper companies have guides to understand how Index weight 110 can be thinner than Cover weight 80 and so on. I can probably track the chart down if you like.
