Been waiting for this review brother. Thanks
Thanks legend!
I have 2 pairs of fairtex, 2 pairs of yokkao and a boon pair of gloves. I use the boon pair 8 times out of 10 and sometimes use my fairtex for rotation. I have the short cuff version and it was ultra tight when it arrived but I spent time at home stretching it out around my hand and it’s by far the best glove I own. I would buy boon again the next time I buy gloves.
I'd recommend giving Windy a try to mate, very similar to Boon in my opinion.
Both top 2 for sure 🙏
@@fightingspirit93how easy to open your palm for catching, framing, etc in windy gloves? As i saw reviews its stiff.
@@gonzalezinti1662 yeah the new proline range is very stiff initially. Haven't used them much for drilling yet but like any gloves, they'll break in the more you open them etc. 🙏
Thank You, I was about to buy Windy or ThaiSmai. I have Yokkao, now I'm going with Boon 🙏🏾🥊
@@knerri6839 no problem. When it arrives don’t be alarmed if it’s very tight and you can barely fit your wraps. Just spend some time at home stretching the leather from the inside and breaking it in slowly. It will soon form a really solid mould around your fists
Well now i will try boon. I wanna buy their new burgundy compact gloves. They're so beautiful 😍
You won't regret it mate 🙏👍🔥
@@fightingspirit93 can't wait. I've tried almost every Thai brand except hem. Thank you for your awesome reviews btw!
@@frederickdoyon these are definitely top of my list right now, Primo is right behind them! Thanks for your support legend.
@@fightingspirit93 really love primo! They are expensive though. Over 200$ CAD here.
I bought these in red about a month ago, I love them. Definitely better than fairtex in my opinion
Such great gloves! Glad you love them 🙏
I bought a hayabusa t3 kanpeki and i love it but this gloves my next plan to buy 😅
I think you're gonna love these even more! 🤣👊
Between the Boon Classic and the Twins BGVL3, which has the better padding?
I define better padding as:
- will not leave a bruise on my sparring partner's face
- will help protect my knuckles better than Mexican style gloves (ie: fairtex bgv9)
I haven't used twins for quite a few years now so I cant comment exactly there but the Boons have been amazing for sparring, especially on my hands. No guarantees I won't bruise my partner though 🤣
Finally retiring my fairtex bgv1 i’ve had for way too long now. Tossing up between these, the bgv9 and maybe a pair of twins. What would u recommend?
Oooo while I haven't tried either, here's an easy difference.
The bgv9 are definite punchers gloves, way better for feedback! Where as Twins are a more spacious Muay Thai glove.
Which is bigger inside, the 12 primo or the boon 12?
Thanks bud
Definitely the Boons!
@@fightingspirit93got mine, 16oz red/white.. Comfy, and precise.. Love them.. What’s the size inside the glove like in a 12oz? Interesting 🧐
For a first Muay Thai glove, would you recommend going with these in 16oz?
Absolutely! Great first glove to try!
This boon vs primo emblem 2.0?
Want enjoyable Muay Thai gloves, go Boon.
Want enjoyable punchers gloves, go Primo!
@@fightingspirit93what’s the hand compartment like for primos. I have small hands
@@xTAK3ITEASY depends on the weight, a bit smaller below 12oz and alot bigger at 14-16oz
boon compared to primos whats your pick thinking about getting the boons for sparring
Both are great brands, but Boon is just so suited for Thai sparring!
Primo can be great for both Thai and boxing 👊 🙏
