Primo Fight Wear Classic Series Boxing Gloves Review: Outstanding Thai Made Boxing Gloves!
Hey I’m 120lbs and looking for boxing gloves for the punching bag under 50$ can you give me some recommendations
If you're working with a low budget, I think you could get away with a pair from RDX like the Kara gloves, super underated and very budget friendly 🙏 for your weight, 10oz-12oz 👊
@@fightingspirit93 thx man I’ll check them out
What type of hooks do you use to display your gloves?
I actually bought some off Temu 🤣 They just need a decent loop for the gloves to sit on 🙏
Got em in 12oz for Pads and Bagwork. As a bigger Western/northern european dude, they are the most comfortable Thai glove ive ever used. The padding seems more on the softer side, which I like. Ill be in Thailand in November and get a 16oz for sparring aswell. Super Export Shop well these and often have a Säle for em. They gonna send my windy bgvh into retirement.
Woahhhh that's a big call! Are they a different model of boosters??? I've got the Windy proline gloves and they are great little punchers gloves!
boon compared to primos whats your pick thinking about getting the boons for sparring
Both are great brands, but Boon is just so suited for Thai sparring! Primo can be great for both Thai and boxing 👊 🙏
Didn't you mention that 14 oz has shorter palm than 16?
In this video..? 🤔
@@fightingspirit93 no, just on personal experience. I did but it's so strange that I would like to approve it
@@indooze I'm unsure whether it did for me mate, both were 2.0 gloves for you? I believe the 14s and 16s we're almost the exact same glove with only the weight difference that I noticed As it's all handmade, small discrepancies can happen all the time 👍🙏
They’re good for sparring?
Just don't... But maybe... 🤣
Pro am sparring gloves?
Sorry?
@@fightingspirit93 pro-am is a boxing brand. They make good sparring gloves can you make a video on them?
@@doslouqes4167 ohhhh we don't have these guys down under, I'll take a look mate! 🙏
Ty you this helped a lot
🙏🙏🙏
Ty helped so much just started mauy thai this helped a lot
Happy days legend! 🔥🙏
Thanks
👊
Are they more durable than kplc 2?
That's a great question, I haven't personally owned a pair but I'd state that they would with the same amount of HEAVY usage. If you're using them occasionally, both options would be fine. Mine still look 100% 👍
dont buy YMX boxing gloves (unless you absolutely must). Im 99% sure they just took the amazon basic gloves and slapped their logo on them.
Not surprised one bit. They probably all come from the same factory 👍
Man beginning in thinking “no was CSquared is off” 😂😂😂 But I agree with you on this.
🤣🤣🤣
Hey how are the Fairtex Belly Pads in the video?
The best mate, I love it!
It's amazing how so many people can't work this out for themselves. It's a belly pad not a hip and abdomen pad. 😂
Soooo manyyyy people!
Great video.
Thanks Richo ❤️🙏
Love the vids!
Thanks legend ❤️🙏
Some problem in audio cant hear your voice mate and also plz turn on the subtitles as well.
Sorry to hear legend, happens to few people, I think TH-cam automatically does it to protect users from loud audio... I've gone ahead and added subtitles mate, take a look!
Mine ripped in 1 month thumb coming out in never buying them again I’ll grab some rivals or the Adam’s boxing gloves
That's a shame! Definitely nowhere near the quality of those brands, I'd be interested to see what they offer at higher prices.
Thanks bro
Thanks for watching legend
Ringside no longer has a catalogue. Their online choices are not good. Competition was supposed to increase quality/price, etc.. All is still used to screen the breaching method's roles with everything left out.
That's disappointing...
@@fightingspirit93 Can you suggest some place to buy professional fight gloves? I use them for training on the bag, shadow boxing, etc.. I have to get a professional license yet.
5:30 I got that adidas tilt glove in a blue Velcro.
I wasn't a fan of those gloves with Velcro at all, way better in laceup in my opinion.
Velcro all the way. I won’t use lace up gloves anymore because I don’t want to depend on my coach or anyone to put on my gloves.
I'm gonna make a video soon on how to use laceup gloves by yourself, without lace converters!
If I'm 75 kg, what Oz glove would you recommend for bag and pad work (muay thai class drills) ? Cheers!
12oz for sure my friend! 🔥
can you do a review on these i wanna buy a pair but i haven’t found any reviews
Absolutely legend, got a few in the schedule but these are coming soon!
👍👍👍
🙏🙏🙏
i hate shin guard that have metal or plastic loops. i always end up kicking them with my toes
You aimming for their calves mate? 🤣 But, yeah they should always be covered!
I agree with not trusting reviews. I'm new to boxing and bought my very first pair of boxing gloves on amazon. they were some of the cheapest available and had some of the best reviews for a budget entry level glove. They are the sanabul gel essentials. they destroyed my hands though. I don't know whether it was just the cheap padding or my hands not being conditioned as some people would call it. I used the sanabul knuckle guards and hand wraps also. which didn't help in protecting my hands or knuckles. knuckles were always purple and swollen, and fingers were all cut up. deep cuts also that left scarring even to this day as we speak. I ended upgrading to more expensive midgrade gloves and it fixed the problem. no more cute fingers or bruised knuckles anymore. as they say "you get what you pay for."
You always get what you pay for! 👊🔥🙏
That display of the boxing gloves and shinguards on the wall is fire bruv! I've only seen a few people do that on here. you, a glory kickboxing champion named Gabriel Varga and a Muay Thai coach named Wingo. 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks legend, it's amazing what a few hooks can do 🤣🙏
This boon vs primo emblem 2.0?
Want enjoyable Muay Thai gloves, go Boon. Want enjoyable punchers gloves, go Primo!
@@fightingspirit93what’s the hand compartment like for primos. I have small hands
@@xTAK3ITEASY depends on the weight, a bit smaller below 12oz and alot bigger at 14-16oz
How are these compared to Primos and Twins BGVL-3? I'm feeling to get a pair of these Boons
The twins would be slightly similar, my money is on Boon being much better quality though. The Primos are great, feel more like a punchers boxing gloves though and less like a traditional Thai glove.
Fit2box sucks never listen to that guy and take that guy advice
I'm sure Simon isn't for everyones taste, just like I may not be a boxers flavour 🤣🙏👊
I've seen a few of his videos. some reviewers call him one of the "goats" of boxing glove reviews.
Cheers mate, youve got a new subscriber. On a side note, I dont think these blogs are even written by humans, mostly AI generated nonsense.
Thank you legend! You know I can't believe I didn't talk about that, well good point!
Everlast Boxing quality is Walmart or Dick’s Sporting Goods quality. Not for real boxers but more for aerobic boxing class.
I agree with this for the most part but I'd like to see the quality of the MX2 and Elite2, especially after they blatantly lied about the MX1s 😬
@@fightingspirit93 I noticed those rating before and wondered why they choose the glove I ranked lower quality. Fake paid for ratings.
Do Reyes really hit harder? 🤔
Most Mexican gloves are usually considered 'punchers' gloves which are considered to be way worse to be hit with compared to other models. If I saw someone in sparring wearing them, I typically believe they want to secretly hurt you a bit 🤣
What would you compare them too? Looking at getting these
Rival and Primo, they are hands down best Aussie owned boxing brand IMO 🙏
Hey man, thanks for the fight gear content. I hope you keep going as i think you could become the "csquared" equivalent in the muay thai gear space! When researching gloves or shinpads / elbow etc. no channel is specialized on gear reviews
Thank you brother, this is very motivating! Really appreciate the support 🙏❤️🔥
Finally retiring my fairtex bgv1 i’ve had for way too long now. Tossing up between these, the bgv9 and maybe a pair of twins. What would u recommend?
Oooo while I haven't tried either, here's an easy difference. The bgv9 are definite punchers gloves, way better for feedback! Where as Twins are a more spacious Muay Thai glove.
Right Video at Perfect time..I'm looking for a good pair of Boxing Gloves for Big Bag Training 6Ft ones ( Very Heavy Bag) ...What's your suggestions? They are available in Amazon India for decent cost..By the way First time for Boxing in my life, Very new to it..
Hey mate! Have you got a budget in mind? That'll give me more options to give you 👊
Best boxing 🥊 under 1500 Indian money@@fightingspirit93
Between the Boon Classic and the Twins BGVL3, which has the better padding? I define better padding as: - will not leave a bruise on my sparring partner's face - will help protect my knuckles better than Mexican style gloves (ie: fairtex bgv9)
I haven't used twins for quite a few years now so I cant comment exactly there but the Boons have been amazing for sparring, especially on my hands. No guarantees I won't bruise my partner though 🤣
Love the kanpeki version (same model but smooth leather version of it)
Yeah they look awesome! 👍
Hi mate, i couldn't see your hand size in the description? I have a hand circumference of 21.5 cm. Im wanting a pair for pad and bag work. So thinking 12oz ?
Thanks for letting me know mate, I've added them in now! Here they are also: Width 90mm (Width of my palm across the knuckles.) Length: 185mm (From bottom of my palm to end of my middle finger.) 12oz should be fine for you!
Looks like they’re “out of stock” 😂
What have I done!?! 🤣
Why do U box with your chin completely open is that a style or something? Also when I see you punch u also keep ur chin so clearly open and punch so low
Bags don't hit back 🤣
@@fightingspirit93 Keep up the great work. Everybody is a boxing coach on social media but none of them want to feel that thunderous left hand of yours landing on their rib cage. 👍🏾
@@battlevain my brother 🙏
I train quite a lot, but I’m debating whether i should buy the normal t3 or the t3 lx. What do you think? Which one is better for boxers who train 4/5 times a week?
Definitely the normal T3s in my opinion, if you can splurge and get yourself 2 pairs of gloves to switch between, then go the LX 👊❤️
Hey man this is my first time buying shin guards and I was wondering what size you think I should go for. I am 5’7 with 36.5 cm shins and 16.5 cm foot
Go medium for most brands mate, just double check the size guide before hitting that pay button! 👊👊
I have 2 pairs of fairtex, 2 pairs of yokkao and a boon pair of gloves. I use the boon pair 8 times out of 10 and sometimes use my fairtex for rotation. I have the short cuff version and it was ultra tight when it arrived but I spent time at home stretching it out around my hand and it’s by far the best glove I own. I would buy boon again the next time I buy gloves.
I'd recommend giving Windy a try to mate, very similar to Boon in my opinion. Both top 2 for sure 🙏
@@fightingspirit93how easy to open your palm for catching, framing, etc in windy gloves? As i saw reviews its stiff.
@@gonzalezinti1662 yeah the new proline range is very stiff initially. Haven't used them much for drilling yet but like any gloves, they'll break in the more you open them etc. 🙏
For a first Muay Thai glove, would you recommend going with these in 16oz?
Absolutely! Great first glove to try!
Man , cool. I got 36/37 shin length so should be large in size charts, also Im 186cm tall but still not sure should I not go for Medium instead. Ordering online sucks in this any recommendation?
If in doubt, go smaller, because too big is WAY worse in my opinion, I wear mediums for the most part myself 🙏
@@fightingspirit93 cheers 🎉
