I agree, but I think there's another layer to it - in that since they're not nearly as common in the US, people learn about them for the driver's test, then forget how they work. Once in a while I would drive 10 miles to a roundabout and literally practice going in and around it, just so I wouldn't look like an idiot if I ever came across one. Anyway just saying that not everyone ( in the U.S. ) who has a brainfart in a roundabout is a totall idiot because for a long time, they were pretty rare in the U.S. compared to how many existed in other developed nations.

Personally, a well marked roundabout is just ‘intuitive’ to navigate - I’d have to say that US’ 4-way stops are obvious, but rely entirely on discipline and courtesy by the drivers - they aren’t intuitive at all.

It could also be a similar situation to 7:19, where he also went up to the line but was reversed into. If you pass the line, it is the driver's job who went across the line and entered traffic to safely exit.

@@jchampify True, but it's difficult to do that in the moment. 99% assume that if you go into the intersection, you will continue on, not reverse. I'd prob do the same thing the cammer did honestly without even realizing it

2:23 In the truck driver's defense he had the SUN in his eyes so he couldn't see the lady crossing the street. If he had a green arrow then the lady crossed on a RED light and should not have. He had the right of way.
2:23: There are only 3 signals present in the light apparatus, so that precludes the possibility of a green arrow. Silver pickup driver is 100% at fault.
