Johnny Depp is a highly intelligent man who hasn't always behaved intelligently. One hopes that his hard earned sobriety prior to the Defamation trial in America proves to be permanent. He needs to learn to love and respect himself not just others: he has earned ours.

He may have done different drug’s and drank maybe too much but his marriage was worse then being in hell no wonder he overindulged she was relentless and physically and mentally abusive it probably brought back memories from his childhood he didn’t deserve anything his mother said and did and he definitely didn’t deserve Everything Amber said and did. I believe her constant controlling behavior, ab'sive tendencies, dragged him down further to a lower place in self-esteem he'd either never known, or it got far worse during those yrs he was so mistreated! We know he had to have had low self-esteem, regardless of his accomplishments, after all his own mother put him through! And people like a AH no inherently the type prey they seek. He happened to meet all the criteria she wanted in someone she saw as a mark ... no more, no less! Sadly! I think he's learning & tho we'll never really know the extent to what he went through with her, we not only have a pretty good idea we know it will likely take years to rise above all that! I will never be in a position to afford any of his art, or enjoy his music in person, but I am super grateful to people who share their experiences online. I frequently search for them and always try to thank those who post them. Even though I am intelligent, and people see me as a successful person, they have no idea of the circus going on inside. When you get beaten down for a long time you do begin to believe you are "less". Keeping my head above water is hard, counseling is $$, and it's easy to understand how he came to using drugs to be numb to pain. I am so sorry his reality was so harsh but hopefully now he is truly going to be on a path to heal and feel true love & support from those around him. The Vampires are not just rock legends, but amazing men in their personal lives. It's exactly where he needs to be 🙏🙏💞

Even when they're right about specifics -- Johnny DOES use paint for drawing instead of painting -- art critics aren't necessarily right in general. Depp's prints here are amazing: the whole point of technique is to make the viewer or listener FEEL, and everything he puts his hand to does that. I knew nothing about him except his name before the defamation trial last year. I'd never even seen him in a movie! But now, great respect!

Those "critics " are probably jealous of his art expressions, not everyone is a Rembrandt or van Gogh or Mondrian . Art is various its inspiration expressions and creativity of what the artist sees in his/her work . He wasn't formally trained in acting, music, vocals, or painting! J.d. is just a well-rounded, multi talented person with a great deal of creativity every avenue I can think of. See the self portrait an I cry with all that is in me because I see my own mental health in it because I myself suffer from PTSD an the self portrait brings me to deepest sadness I have ever felt an I just know Johnny Depp is amazing and giving human being an if the sale of any of them. Helps. Anyone then it’s a good thing! I know I could never afford one but it would make my day to have an. Opportunity to see them with my own eyes.
This is wrong. It wasn't the painting being sold, but prints of it, for $2000 each. I tried to get one, but when I tried to pay, suddenly I was told they were all gone, even though they SPECIFICALLY said it was NOT limitted by the amount of copies, and they would sell copies until a certain date and time. But when I finally gave up, there were still 5 hours left. I am outraged! I wrote and demanded they sell me one, but I never got a reply. I badly wanted the self portrait of him, and I felt $2000 was dirt cheap.
As is usually the case people are judging him by how they see things. Yes, he makes poor decisions but he is a very intelligent man and quite gifted. If people would get their opinions out of the way and try to feel what Johnny is saying they might actually see the real Johnny. Just sayen.
I find the art to be pleasing. And the art critics are such that, wasn't van Gogh, cezanne, Monet and all manner of other artists derided by critics also. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
