Ive been squatting everyday for the past 3 weeks so far and I developed a pain that runs through my calf... maybe from my knees passing my feet causing a muscle tear or stretch?? Any feedback to perfect my form or any suggestions to prevent further pain? Thanks
Thanks for the video guys! Ya'll are both flush. I tried squat everyday 2.0 for a month and got floored - good recovery, good diet - but I am a novice and was just wondering if you recommend when someone could/should start squatting every day - because I want to.
Can you explain how using Olympic lifting shoes increases mobility? I would think that it would limit your mobility, since you're using it as a crutch. It seems counter-intuitive to me.
skatesquam lol I'm always learning man I don't think I know everything that's for sure. I do squat that way & perform it that way on purpose to practice the rebound. Thanks for the comment
Cory Gregory Why do you practice a puase variation whilst still taking advantage of the rebound? Doesn't that negate most of the benefits of the pause?
Come by golds Venice we have plenty of different bars there and a platform!

Are you sticking to one squat(i.e. Front or Back) or are you doing both and picking one variation on each?
What do you think of the Zercher squat?

Cory Gregory of MUSCLEPHARM!
I guess you don't follow the #feetforward mentality from Kelly Starrett.

Edward Wong at first they put me in better positions & now from all the squatting my ankles & hips are way more mobile with or without
How many reps a day ?

i thought squat everyday was by Matt Perryman.
Guy bounces down and up slightly as he ends his pause removing a lot of the benefits that you get from a pause squat.
john farrell yeah he stretch flexes out cause he actually doesnt know as much as he thinks.

john farrell The bar still stops motion then you have to restart it
Cory Gregory If you bounce at the bottom it is basically the same as a normal squat in terms of stretch reflex and momentum.
