Beautiful, very effective. The small view angle combined with the wide open design of your rooms give me the permanent feeling that something bad appears from the side. It's uneasy. Interesting monsters :-) completely unclear what you're looking at, feels even more a threat :-))
That one entity is the very definition of abstraction. It looks like nothing, nothing if not just a total bug in the geometric matrix mindlessly chasing after you, which makes it utterly incomprehensible, and that's what makes it scary. I swear those ideas some people have sometimes...
imagine if theres a entity that once it sees you it will not stop chasing you around, even if youre in levels where entities are friendly or dont exist
@@imnotnormal5380 i meant something that you cant defeat, an entity that wont stop till you die, and if you kill it more will chase you around, (x2 everytime you kill one)
this looks amazing:) love how everything slightly flickers, as if the rooms are forming and morphing in real time. the animation is great too and the wide angle always makes it seem as if theres something in the corner in your eye that you cant quite see
To be honest? I believe this is what the average Backrooms entity should be like: as glitched and distorted as the reality they inhabit. This creature looks like some sort of *severely* bugged model in a video game, whose features aren't rendering properly anymore. It moves much faster than its size and body shape should allow. It's clipping into the floor. And very likely to be too dangerous and rare for people to reliably be able to document. I'd say my only critique would be to replace the roar with a more "glitchy" sound. Like the creature's sound like an audio error. But even then, the roar could still fit if we assume that the creature's "audio files" are intact, leading us to wonder what it's supposed to look like. Overall, very nice job! :D
The entities are like bacteria...if you find the lab station or anyplace with flammable material in this level you can mix some chemicals and throw it at them setting them on fire, thats why you may see some black burnt material on the floors...or if you find an extinguisher that could also help by either slowing down the bacteria, damaging it or killing it.
Glad I caught up with you I was just trying to let you know it's time to renew your cars auto extended warranty, It expires this year and you need to get a jump on these discounts. (ALSO great Job recording our Interaction)
Tbh as much as how scared I am with this video, there's 1 thing I bugged me tho, that if u focused enough, u can see that the entity is just a moving image, that's a little thing that needs to be fixed, other than that this vid actually got me
What if its pokemon? What if it's monsters from courage the cowardly dog? Stop trying to force crossovers. Let the backrooms be it's own newer and seperate thing.
My hypothetical: The bacteria in the backrooms grew out of a necessity to clean this alternate dimension of free radicals. They act like anti-oxidents, only to preserve the space-time fabric of this dimension. Damage to this alternate dension can otherwise lead to anomolies in the normal world that range from paranormal events to terrible destructive hurricanes.
To further expand on this, bacteria are the most simplistic, yet capable, organisms that can exist in the backrooms that will not destroy itself in fulfilling it's purpose. Non-living things that have no-clipped into the backrooms are not capable of damaging the environment as they simply yield minimal impact on the alternate dimension after its arrival. Organic material left behind in the backrooms will grow mold that decays the organic material until the organic material reaches minimal impact on the alternate dimension.
Interesting entity! Only issues I have are the dude's movements being just abit too fast, makes it look like his legs are funni. Also the visual distortions - are they on purpose or? If they're on purpose, what are they for?
…must have been Betamax, because they had the smallest camcorders at the time, but really expensive. My dad had one, very small, but still five pounds and you had 6 hours at lowest quality setting. The cheaper VHS camcorder often weighed 12 pounds and had to be held with both hands and rested on your shoulder. Most people who owned one weren’t just casually lugging even a small camcorder and a bag of blank tapes around all the time, just in case a passing cat happened to do something cute, like we do with our smart phones now, ESPECIALLY in the early 80s, before VHS micro adaptors were developed. Those Revolutionized camcorder portability, as they were even smaller than a beta tape, and then just put them in an adapter and play like a regular VHS tape. Made the camera only three pounds. They were NOT invented yet in 1982, however, not for another ten years. My point is, most people with most camcorders, would have been more likely to use it as a cudgel against the monsters, breaking it, than staying focused on filming everything, that, or most average persons would grow very tired quickly of hauling it around, and just put it down en leave it, even if it was still working and plenty of tape space. They probably would take the tape, however. A healthy young man with really good upper body strength could have been handling a Betamax camera, however, without too much difficulty, perhaps having its travel bag full of battery cartridges and blanks with him to sling over his shoulder when he just has to take a break from holding it up for hours and hours. Basically only a professional journalist or a rich obsessed hobbyist would likely happen to be wearing it most of the time to plausibly end up no clipped with it all. This is a bit of a plot hole. If the forces behind the phenomenon were prioritizing taking the kinds of people obsessed with such filmmaking, perhaps out of some vainglorious desire to show off their work, the disagreement of SO many full time cameramen throughout the 80s WOULD HAVE BEEN NOTICED. This is why there should ONLY be a tiny few videos from the 80s. Found cameras spat back out into reality should ONLY start to be common in the 90s.
If the backrooms existed I wouldn't be surprised based on how many documented supernatural cases there are in real life we might as well say it's real like all the other things I've seen and heard. You guys have no idea what kind of power I am messing with.

Looks like a super stretched ragdoll
You should bake your GI in all directions as possible to avoid the shadows flickering before you render

What if it’s actually SCPs that live in the backrooms 😱
Then every entity would be SCPs

Embrace the idea of either a render farm (money) or baking the lighting with EEVEE because some artifacts appear due to de-noising.
