Back in school I used to be obsessed with exploring these sort of places after hours (my mum was a teacher so I had to stay back late some days). There's something so unsettling but also calming about being lost in a dark, quiet expanse of rooms, which are intended to be full of people and noise. At one point my friends and I even constructed a base under this old drama stage and fully kitted it out with rooms and hallways made from cardboard and sheets, fairy lights, pillows, emergency exits and even found a supply of square carpet sections under the stage to make a comfy floor. Ended up getting trapped under there several times due to surprise assemblies on top of the stage and had to coordinate escape missions to make it to class on time 😂felt like spy shit fr. Never got found out.

Yoo that entity encounter was dope. Looks like if Trevor Henderson art got animated nice job. Did you use something like after effects to animate that into the footage?
Slow it down to see but did y’all see that thing at 0:42 at the end of the hallway when he turns?? Also at the bottom left of 0:46 something runs across the screen 😳😳
The best way to combat this entity is to always be armed with long to mid-range weapons and to have 2-3 people with you when traversing this level. Due to it’s sharp turns and narrow halls, ambushing is most likely this creature’s main tactic.
Another good method would be to make sharp turns, if you do it just right it could slip and fall, and cause of its elongated neck it could very easily snap it.
This is why the backrooms are scary to Gen X people. We went to school and grew up in odd liminal spaces like this. That was probably a real school. Just put in a yellow tint and you can feel the unease.
This guy thinks schools don't exist after the year 2000, or that liminal spaces in general were only created in the early 2000, i had these same experiences as you and i was born in 2005. It's amazing how we're currently experiencing a flood of these videos from so many different channels at once. It makes it feel even more real, these are all of the people you always hear about in every story of the backrooms, some exploring and some just trying to escape.
I like to imagine that it's all just found footage, too. Meaning that all of these wannabe helpers in the comments talking about the "best way" to deal with anomalies are saying these things in vain and have no idea what they're talking about in the first place. No one returns. No organization has opened a portal to this place. Just forget about it.
This looks so realistic. It reminds me of when I was younger and I grew up around a lot of stuff like this. Long hallways and empty buildings. My grandmother had owned businesses and they weren’t doing too well so when my mom and dad would help her move things from buildings, I would just explore all the empty rooms and stuff. There was always an eerie creepy feeling too, but it was so much fun. It was especially fun when we would go to the back of the building to turn all the lights off and go back through in the dark. Ooo she had different buildings too, so there was always a different look..kinda like the levels in the back rooms lol.
that transition between irl and animated at 0:20 was pretty good. I didn't notice it until I watched it a few times over, that static-y effect change on the irl footage to the animated footage was how I was able to tell, idk what the camera effect is called or what it is but either way this is a very interesting take on filming the backrooms splicing some irl footage with animated footage
bro this is actually so disturbing and i love it especially the end that was actually a jumpscare for me its really just the way it moved out at the screen for me i also like the parts 0:42 and 0:46 where the entity appears for a sec
Woah this is super good! that jumpscare really got me lol, but it I could suggest one thing it would be more compression on the footage, you can tell this is normal quality with a filter over it and I find the vibes spookier when I watch it a 144p
so that jumpscares dont scare u as much in the future, here’s a fact: any time anywhere gets “too quiet”- like when the humming of the lights stop- or when the lights go out- DO NOT DROP YOUR GUARD, and prepare yourself. i desensitized myself partially this way ;)
These backrooms kinda look like my summer camp and first elementary school merged together, decided to reject windows and become a million times bigger. Kinda freaky. Great video btw, keep it up👍
What I find most unnerving about this is the fact that the environment seems to be a combination of some kind of daycare or kindergarten, and an inpatient rehab psych unit...I say the latter because the sign at the top of the stairs at 1:46 lists one of the rooms as "Adult Life Groups" and the window with the half-door at 0:30 is the sort of thing you see at nurses' stations where medications are dispensed. Anyway idk why I focused on that particular aspect, just seemed extra creepy.
my school has this door with a window in it and there’s a sign that just says “corridor” when you look through the window it’s a small hallway with doors on both sides, it’s kinda unsettling but cool lol
I was thinking the same thing. This looks like a mega church in particular; the kind of building utilized by Pentecostals and Evangelicals. The frame with the sign pointing to the Adult Life groups gives it away.
