My male quail is called humbug because he looked so much like the mint. So lovely to have them hatch naturally they must be really happy. Congratulations so cute.

I heard the same. I think you can help this along by having a more natural environment for them with plenty of potential nesting places.

Thanks. I think it is quite unusual but that is likely because many people choose to keep quail in wire floored cages not conducive to a natural environment.

Hello and thank you. I have a heat plate in. It works well in particular now they are a little bigger and can’t all really fit under mum. 😊

Hi. Thanks. No I don’t plan to raise Chinese button quail although they are very cute. Maybe one day but not at the moment.
