  • Thought you guys would like to see the unloading process of a stone that weighs probably close to 700 lbs. Its about 4 feet long, 1 foot thick on one end, 1.5 feet thick on the other and about 15 inches wide. I should have had a tape measure with me to measure it for you guys but I did not. Hope you enjoyed the video and as always rate and subscribe if you like what you see. Thanks.

You should make the sides of the trailer removable to offload stuff easier!

I see a possible safety violation; does the right side have an outrigger to pevent that rock from falling onto its side? Whenever you have a heavy object you should have an outrigger on the same side as the lifting mechanism to prevent whatevrer is being lifted from tipping over ...

Wow, it really worked! I'm impressed. I must say though, I was waiting for that cable to snap or something else to "sproing" on you, but it actually did the job!

Jon A. is correct. What is commonly known as Outriggers would be awesome. They would be helpful to stabilize the load while loading and unloading. They're commonly used on Heavy equipment such as a Backhoe or Trackhoe. You may have also seen stabilizing jacks on Campers or RVs when parked.

Nice job guys. I'm picking up that exact crane for my F250 tomorrow. I plan on lifting fairly heavy so will have to figure out how to reinforce it at the frame. Do you find the unit to be fairly stable ?

That's exactly the setup I'm going to be doing on the trailer I am getting -I have the crane waiting on the trailer - My question to you is how did you beef up the connection point for the crane to the trailer? Might we get a video of how you did that?

Nice Lift. Have you ever thought of making something from that nice hunk-o-stone? Split it up for walkway stones or something with a feather and wedge? For those who don't know what a feather and wedge are,
