I'm digging that mount for the winch. Nice work! I have the same setup on the back of my flatbed nissan pickup. I have lifted entire big block engines with it. Pulled the diagonally opposite tire of the truck off the ground! Learned I needed a brace under the corners to keep the truck level as I needed another winch just to pull the engine over onto the bed. But I really do like the quick release bolt on the winch. I left mine on the crane and knocked the plastic box off on a tree branch and broke the controller.. And then the first rain immediately rusted out the cheap harbor freight winch. But it wasn't really up to the task anyway. I want to replace it with a 3500-5k winch since they aren't really that expensive anyway and a bigger winch will run faster. I love the idea of putting this setup on a trailer. I've parbuckled logs for the most part, but this takes less setup and has many more uses, being able to also lift things like equipment, large rocks, or burl stumps, etc. I made a mount for my f350 with a 9 foot flatbed. The left side has toolboxes and 2" tubing protecting the boxes. I figure it would be perfect to load the back up with logs, and I could mount a battery or two inside one of the toolboxes with those plug in battery terminals mounted into the back. Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing.
Still working. Only thing different I would do is I would put a receiver for it on the other side as well. I also added hitch lock pins so I could leave it on my trailer. Also made extended cables and a battery mount👍
Here’s 2 ideas: 1) Cut the existing stake pockets off the trailer and make new ones that match your uprights. 2) Get a larger size of C channel than the stake pocket and cut/weld it to look like the C channel does a smooth transition to fit in the stake pocket size.
That's a lot of dead trees up there. Doesn't really look like winter with everyone in tshirts.. Kinda looks like how our place looked when pine beetles came through and wiped everything out.

Good job everyone, you really showed what a workhorse the HF Truck Crane can be.
You guys are a crack up. Great video!
That is one working winch!
Nice work! And thanks for sharing 🌞 I am looking to make a rig like this to help lift stuff because I have an injuy 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Is this setup still working? Anything break or things you'd do different?

Excellent job
Hi I'm daisy from rugcel winch. I think your video content is very good, can we communicate specifically
What is the Length of trailer??? 👍👍
18 ft.
Better take one log away at a time. Remember you have a dodge pickup there! Lol
🤣🤣🤣
You didn't show the actual crane system i gave up and clicked off TOO MUCH UNNECESSARY INFORMATION. THE TITLE DESCRIPTION DIDN'T MATCH THE VIDEO
this was part 5 as it stated in the video title . Did you watch parts 1 2 3 and 4?
...or look in the description where he gives links to the actual products used??
