I'm a dear from China :D I'd like to tell you something about the situation at that time. He became famous on the singer's show because of his huge range,beautiful voice&perfect skill. People experience from the beginning of the amazing to gradually accustomed to the later high voice, hearing fatigue. Dimash faced to the question from the public media, he choosed Confessa to show his all range notes,very low voice.And he has set a low note record for all season's of singers competions. The rules of the singer's competion, add up two scores of the semi-finals and the final results, the winner of the highest score of votes to win. The semi-final is the solo, the final is the duet, so for Dimashi, the semi-final is the last solo. He wanted to win the competion so he choosed a very different song. No one can do the 5th element. Unfortunately, it was a 4 monthes of the race due to fatigue, and the competition was also interspersed with various commercial performances (the planes traveled between cities in China, and the rain in Changsha for the whole month .It was very cold.). For Dimash, who grew up in dry areas, it is no doubt a disaster. In the semi-finals, Dimash's throat was inflamed. The part in confessa where he goes really big is so perfect because it reflects the lyrics so well. The song is basically about a man that finds out his wife is being unfaithful and I think he rendered that heart ache perfectly in his performance. That portion of lyrics, for whoever's is interested: "The sadness in the heart opens a void bigger than the sea Why are you being a different woman? Why are you not yourself anymore? Why didn't you say it before? He who does not love, will never be loved"
I'm SO glad you reacted to this version! I love his performance of "Confessa." He pours so much emotion into it, and I love his interaction with the dancer. You were wondering how Dimash was able to switch from Confessa and directly and effortlessly into Diva Dance? Because he is DIMASH. You need to seriously watch his entire solo concert, which is 3 hours long that he sings almost non-stop, and every song perfectly delivered. Yes, it make everyone wonder "How?" Dimash is simply amazing. God's gift to us. That's how.
I've seen this video a thousand times and I can not imagine ever growing tired of it. Dimash is a legend, a force to be reckoned with. With that being said, I feel like you are too! Of the many (hundreds/thousands) of people doing reacting videos, you are by far my most favorite! There are always (often, a lot of) things you notice that goes unnoticed by almost all other reactors I've seen reacting to the same videos. Your insight in many of the aspects in the videos are precious! Nothing escapes your eyes and ears! Thank you for making an already (near) perfect artist like Dimash even more amazing to us! When your adrenalin is revving you don't feel the pain....but afterward, I can't remember when, but at one point I believe in Singer, he was taking some photos and he had some bigtime pain in his back/side/leg....don't know exactly where, but someone in the photo with him leaned into him and he winced. He said something like, no worries, I just have to sleep it off. A very physical singer, there was only one time (the first high note in Diva) after singing Confessa that he sounded a bit vocally tired just on that note. When you are singing so emotionally like in the ending of Confessa, you have to gather your whole body to work your vocal changes....being an amazing physical singer, every muscle and major organ (heart, lungs) in his body works towards stabilizing his vocals. It's like marathon runners--a natural high. No wonder Dimash says all he ever wanted to do was sing....you could probably bottle up his endorphins and sell 'em on the black market :D. Lovely reaction!!!!

The part in confessa where he goes really big is so perfect because it reflects the lyrics so well. The song is basically about a man that finds out his wife is being unfaithful and I think he rendered that heart ache perfectly in his performance. That portion of lyrics, for whoever's is interested:

You need to seriously watch his entire solo concert, which is 3 hours long that he sings almost non-stop, and every song perfectly delivered. Yes, it make everyone wonder "How?" Dimash is just one of those singers that is so emotional. Nearly all of his songs affect me. This was a great combination of songs.
I've seen this video a thousand times and I can not imagine ever growing tired of it. Dimash is a legend, a force to be reckoned with. With that being said, I feel like you are too! Of the many (hundreds/thousands) of people doing reacting videos, you are by far my most favorite! There are always (often, a lot of) things you notice that goes unnoticed by almost all other reactors I've seen reacting to the same videos. When your adrenalin is revving you don't feel the pain....but afterward, I can't remember when, but at one point I believe in Singer, he was taking some photos and he had some bigtime pain in his back/side/leg....don't know exactly where, but someone in the photo with him leaned into him and he winced. He said something like, no worries, I just have to sleep it off. A very physical singer, there was only one time (the first high note in Diva) after singing Confessa that he sounded a bit vocally tired just on that note. When you are singing so emotionally like in the ending of Confessa, you have to gather your whole body to work your vocal changes....being an amazing physical singer, every muscle and major organ (heart, lungs) in his body works towards stabilizing his vocals. It's like marathon runners--a natural high. No wonder Dimash says all he ever wanted to do was sing....you could probably bottle up his endorphins and sell 'em on the black market :D. Lovely reaction!!!!
