There was the drop of blood on the instrument and the drop of water in the lake - every frame in this mv is well thought out, nothing is left to chance (with Dimash directing, nothing but depth n perfection). The drop of blood on the instrument is symbolic of sacrifice, the drop in the water symbolizes life, one life is as precious as the many lives it impacts (ripples).

In essence, the song “Qairan Elim” is like a prayer in which Dimash shares his personal experiences, his anxiety about the fate of his homeland and the whole world. The idea was largely influenced by the coronavirus epidemic, which hit mankind and claimed millions of lives worldwide.
“The song“ Qairan Elim ”is a message and an appeal to all people for good and positive thoughts. The belief that we will surely overcome everything and face all diseases. The main thing is to believe and stay strong ”, commented Renat Gaissin and Dimash.
The melody of the song reached composer Renat Gaissin on an early July morning, in a recording studio, during a break between recordings, while looking at the news feed. With each news read, the composer's feelings became more and more unbearable - they, like reports of the war, were filled with information about the number of new people infected and killed by the coronavirus. And, as if I had a sad history in my head, the musical theme started to sound clearer and clearer ... Removing the phone from his ears, Renat approached his musical instrument and started playing a melody that suddenly, like a flash, came to your mind. A few minutes later, Dimash approached Renat and asked him to play again.
After hearing the melody from beginning to end, the interpreter, deeply impressed, said that he really wanted to sing it. The melody was shown to the sound producer, Yerlan Bekchurin, and he wrote an arrangement for it. From that moment, work on music began.
“Since ancient times, Kobyz has been a sacred instrument that reflects people's souls. Renat Gaisin's song “Qairan Elim” was born during our visit to Almaty. In writing the song, we all try to understand the whole idea of the song. At the request of the author and Dimash, we started recording kobyz. I started to improvise on the instrument and at the end, during the recording, something really beautiful and magical came out. I was very impressed with the project. This is a great creative experience for me. I hope that all listeners like the music ”- said the kobyzista Olzhas Kurmanbek.
The video was filmed in picturesque locations in the Almaty region. The directors were Dimash himself and cameraman Azamat Dulatov.
Nellie Nurasheva was the stylist for the video, the clothes were provided by the famous Kazakhstani stylist Ainur Turisbek.

На 8:00 увидел пейзажную картинку (горы, неподвижную гладь озера), остановил видео и сказал: «Прекрасный выстрел с дрона прямо сейчас. Вы думаете, что получите этот маленький камень и это пройдет мимо меня». Ставит на повтор картинку (горы, неподвижную гладь озера). Мэттью заметил то, что до него никто не замечал - что-то упало на гладь воды и небольшим звуком и пошли круги. Это открытие очень обрадовало Мэтта, и он решил взорвать это для нас (обратить наше внимание). Мэтт по кадрам рассмотрел интересный момент: «Вы видите эту спокойную воду. Прямо здесь они бросили камень (показывает место курсором) в совершенно неподвижную воду. Обратите внимание на символику там - где все совершенно спокойно, но ты бросаешь один маленький камень, и вдруг всё нарушается, потому что прямо здесь появляется небольшой всплеск. Это что-то вроде частички хаоса в такой большой мир. От брошенного камня создается рябь на воде. Один маленький акт хаоса, а рябь идет сквозь всё. Так (происходит) и с миром, с историей. Всё такое безумное… Это было похоже на хороший вид с дрона. Были красивые пейзажи, а затем они (создатели клипа) добавили немного (показал жестом, как бросили камушек) звуковой эффект ляпа (падения камня). Это здорово». Включил видео на 9:17, Димаш начинает после мгновенной паузы и «ляпа» петь припев-молитву. Мэтт смотрит молча. Включил видео на 12:24, голос Димаша усиливается, что доказывает слова Мэтта. На 12:45 Мэтт опять делает паузу, т.к. заметил красивый пейзаж: «Боже мой, посмотрите на этот великолепный снимок. Под облаками есть тень, которую отбрасывает облако. Также там есть солнечный свет, проникающий из-за облака. Он опускается и отражается от воды посередине. И мы получаем действительно красивый контраст между этой темнотой и облаком - яркое пятно этой воды, похожее на жидкое золото или жидкий металл. Просто потоки. Это выглядит очень круто. На 13:35 включил видео, видит кобыз на заднем плане. Заинтересовался техникой игры. О звуках кобыза сказал, что «это классно!». Увидел огонь на пианино, не понял. Затем увидел кровь на грифе кобыза. Пытается понять, что здесь происходит, что они (создатели клипа) пытаются изобразить? Кровь, слезы и хаос, и все это прочее - от битв на своей родине и т.п. Это как дань уважения всем людям, которые умерли за свою страну? Дослушал маленькое соло на кобызе. Рука музыканта в крови. Падает капля крови, и Мэттью тут же видит в этом важный момент: «Пауза! Тут же музыкальная пауза и ожидание этого падения. На самом деле, фантастически сделано. И мне нравится, как они (авторы клипа) добавили кровь на его пальцы, как будто он (музыкант), играя, буквально стёр пальцы до костей. Это круто. Я чувствую, что это вот-вот взорвется». Включил видео на 14:57. После падения капли крови и микро-паузы тишины действительно взорвалось. Увидев Димаша в огне, Мэттью поднял руки вверх - «ну, что я говорил». Сделал паузу на 15:16 и сказал: «Он в огне. Это не настоящий огонь, но я думал, что мы закончили с этим (с огнем) после «Across endless dimensions» (там были огненные крылья). Я думал, что все это - феникс и Димаш - это уже сделано. А Димаш теперь буквально превращается в феникса. Феникс на полную мощность!». Включает видео на 15:35, смотрит кульминацию припева, молнию и решает, что надо сделать паузу. Выключил видео на 16:14 и сказал: «Все декорации, которые они используют в этом видео, феноменальны. Каждый "выстрел" (эпизод) кажется чудесным помещением». Для иллюстрации вернулся на картинку озера и голых стволов, торчащих из воды. Мэттью продолжил: «Посмотрите только на все эти деревья, они выходят из воды, стволы их гладкие, стоят прямо. Это такой классный вид. А потом вы как бы идете на другую сторону - горы или скалы, видны некоторые деревья на заднем плане. Это здорово. А затем этот мощный (голос). Дальше Мэтт рассказал, как этот кадр был сделан технически: «Мимо черно-белых эмоциональных невзгод (камера движется за скалу) - в красоту того, что должно произойти. Это фантастика!!! Символизм - это просто резкая эмоциональная оборотная сторона, а затем прямо над эмоциями, прямо над невзгодами, прямо над каменистой местностью … тогда вы достигаете красоты, которая находится на заднем плане. Это видео феноменально. Наш мальчик Димаш умеет ставить музыку, видео и снять фантастический музыкальный клип. (обращается как бы к Димашу) Ты, должно быть, шутишь. Я получил много эмоций от «Самал Тау». В видео была одна часть (включил видео на 19:57), где пепел падал с одежды, с локтей Димаша, (Димаш поет протяжно на 20:08). Скажите, где можно найти перевод на русский? Вы, наверное, понимаете английский или есть где-то перевод, субтитры? Что он говорит? Его все хвалят, а я ничего не понимаю.
@@user-mm6th3dw9l Я тоже не владею английским, только отдельные слова, но чувствую его чисто интуитивно. Субтитры у него не работают, так что остаётся ждать переводчиков -- Асылхана, Алана или Викторию Смирноф.
@@alsel7872 Спасибо за ответ. Нужны, очень нужны субтитры на профессиональные, объективные реакции. Когда идет текст на английском или еще каком-то другом языке, я еще могу воспользоваться Гугл-переводчиком, там все-таки можно большую часть перевода понять. А вот видеообзор, да еще объективный, без перевода - плохо совсем.

I have noticed yet another thing after watching the video countless times every day: From the moment the drop hit the water, a relentless ticking starts, and the last line before that said that time heals everything. The ticking, is that the time? And it continues until the drop of blood hits the bottom of the Kobyz. Does that mean that time ends here? I can not yet wrap my mind around that new discovery. Oh, there is so much in that video. It is pure art.

You really dissected the video. This is a masterpiece. I feel that the meaning is much deeper and broader than just the history of Kazakhstan and the hardships its people have been through. I'm reminded of all the ruined countries around the world and the wars they're facing. I also think him being on fire could be showing that he deeply loves his country to the extent that he's willing to sacrifice himself in order for it to have a better future. He didn't show all of his vocal capabilities here, but that made it extremely powerful and emotional. I wouldn't have this song any other way. That scream that he had in the middle really said it all, and the instruments KILLED me.
I took the fire as representing the tempering by difficulties that leads to strength.

Rebirth only makes sense if he dies. In this video Dimash doesn't die. The pianist does. So I'm taking my cue from the second verse, "difficulties temper" and "the tempered can't be broken." Tempering is when you put steel in fire to make it stronger. That's why it can't be broken. Dimash and the pianist are both in the fire. I believe the fire represents the difficulties the world is facing right now, that are tempering us. Some don't survive their tempering, like Dimash's teachers, the 740,000 people who have died of COVID so far. The pianist represents them. A new music video ′′ Qairan Elim ′′ (′′ Oh My Holy Land!") has been released on Dimash Kudaibergen's TH-cam channel. The author of the song is a renowned Kazakh composer Renat Gaissin. The lyrics were written by poets Daniyar Aldabergen and Oral Bayengir.
Insanely deep content, full of tragedy and sincere hope, and an emotionally heartbreaking musical composition... In essence, the song ′′ Qairan Elim ′′ is like a prayer in which Dimash shares his personal experiences, his anxiety about the fate of his homeland and the whole world. For the most part, the idea was influenced by the epidemic of coronavirus, which affected humanity and claimed millions of lives worldwide.
The song's melody came to songwriter Renat Gaissin on early July, in a recording studio, during a break between recordings, while he went through the news. The video was filmed in picturesque places in the Almaty region. The directors were Dimash himself and cameraman Azamat Dulatov. Recording the video was easy, no setbacks. The whole team was so inspired by work that they neglected sleep and rest, which resulted in the shooting being completed in record time.

A new music video “Qairan Elim” (“Oh, my holy land!”) has been released on the Dimash Kudaibergen’s TH-cam channel. The author of the song is a renowned Kazakh composer Renat Gaissin. The lyrics were written by the poets Daniyar Aldabergen and Oral Baysengir.
An incredibly deep in content, full of tragedy and sincere hope, and an emotionally piercing musical composition… In essence, the song “Qairan Elim” is like a prayer in which Dimash shares his personal experiences, his anxiety about the fate of his homeland and the whole world. For the most part, the idea was influenced by the coronavirus epidemic, which hit humanity and claimed millions of lives around the world.
The melody of the song came to composer Renat Gaissin one early July morning, in a recording studio, during a break between recordings, when he was leafing through the news feed. With each news read, the composer’s feelings became more and more unbearable - they, like reports from the war, were filled with information about the number of new people infected and died due to the coronavirus.And, as if in a sad background in my head, the musical theme began to sound more and more clearly… Putting the phone down, Renat went up to his musical instrument and began to play a melody that suddenly, like a flash, came to his mind. A few minutes later Dimash approached Renat and asked him to play it again.
After listening to the melody from beginning to end, the performer, being deeply impressed, said that he really wanted to sing it. The melody was shown to the sound producer, Yerlan Bekchurin, and he wrote an arrangement for it. From that moment on, work on the song began.
“The song “Qairan Elim” is a message and a call to all people for good, positive thoughts. The belief that we will definitely overcome everything and cope with all ailments. The main thing is to believe in it and remain strong,” Renat Gaissin and Dimash commented.
Also, one cannot fail to note the piercing part of kobyz performed by the talented musician Olzhas Kurmanbek, who gave the composition its own special, unique sound.
“Since ancient times, Kobyz has been a sacred instrument that reflects the soul of people. Renat Gaisin’s song “Qairan Elim” was born during our visit to Almaty. When writing the song, we all tried to understand the whole idea of the song. At the request of the author and Dimash, we started by recording kobyz. I started to improvise on the instrument, and in the end, during the recording, something really beautiful and magical came out. I was very impressed by the project. This is a huge creative experience for me. I hope that all listeners will like the song” - said kobyzist Olzhas Kurmanbek.
The video was shot in the picturesque places of Almaty region. The directors were Dimash himself and the cameraman Azamat Dulatov. Shooting the video was easy, without any hiccups. The whole team was so inspired by the work that they neglected sleep and rest, which resulted in the filming being completed in record time.
“When I first heard this composition, I immediately liked its subtle and very competent message. And, of course, I gladly took upon the work. The whole filming process went very smoothly. Everyone here was filled with inspiration. I am sincerely grateful to every specialist who contributed to this project. Our editing director, Timur Dulatov, hit the mark by building the composition according to his inner feelings, and making a very beautiful picture as a result. The talented Yerlan Tanaev did the magic-color correction. Color was very important for us, as we wanted the mood of the song to reach every viewer. We put our soul into each shot. I hope that fans of Dimash’s work will like our work” - Azamat Dulatov shared.
Nellie Nurasheva was the stylist of the video, the clothes were provided by the famous designer of Kazakhstan Ainur Turisbek. It was her non-trivial unique style that perfectly fit into the futuristic atmosphere of the video.
Makeup artist Sandi Beksyrga recalls the days of filming with a smile: “You know, the nature helped us a lot during the filming. The beauty of the Alatau mountains and lakes can’t be described with any words. It seemed that nature itself loves Dimash. When a light breeze blew, poplar fluff softly circled in the air and, to the rhythm of the song, smoothly sank into the water. It was a really beautiful sight!”

It wouldn’t be your comments section without me requesting your reaction to the MUSIC VIDEO of Dimash’s “Love of Tired Swans” which will also blow your mind, especially visually, I guarantee you. 😊 (and since you just reacted to his newest music video, I thought I would remind you of this older mv of his that definitely deserves a reaction also) . I know I already requested it a bunch of times before, but it is because I feel you will love the visuals where he is playing this red-clad angel/swan being and there is interpretive dance involved and some CGI making Dimash fly with his angel wings, etc at a scenery that makes everything look like something out of Burning Man festival because it is so trippy, symbolic, artsy and visually cool.
