He started training at age 5 & still trains hard, swims to increase his lung capacity so he can hold notes up to 25-27 secs., RUSSIAN COMPOSER IGOR KRUTOY came out of retirement to work specifically with Dimash bc he's so very gifted. He has a gentle & humble soul, he's soft spoken except when he performs then he is a monster, his faith guides his life, he's DEVOTED to FAMILY/COUNTRY/CULTURE, worries about our world & it's people, he's kind, a humanitarian.
There's so much more to DIMASH but it's a beautiful journey you're on & all the surprises on the way!! Enjoy.

Fun fact : this IS NOT his best Divadance... Believe it or not; he hadn't fully recovered from the week when he lost his voice during the competition. So he had to leave out the part with the fast run from high to low. But he does it in The Bastau-concert...! Check it out!

Did you notice that he started off in Mandarin for his audience and then switched to Italian? It’s what the song is originally recorded in by the way. I thought that was really cool!

Why is he so over the top dramatic with the dancer who is leaving him for another man? Dimash is acting like an italian man would: he shows his emotional distress with larger than life reactions, starting at 5:05 (I hope he did not hurt his hand)!

I think Diva Dance from Bastau Concert was the better performance than his The Singer performance
This performance was great but I do agree that the Bastau Concert one is better. Mostly because he actually does the impossible run of notes that were digitized in the movie. You should check out the Bastau version even if it's on your own time and not recorded. :)

Dimash is able step completely into a song and character emotionally. He is actually very human - he has an extraordinary talent but he was working hard and trained his voice to perfection since he was 5 years old. Both his parents are professional singers so he had the proper support to help to develop his natural gift.

Maestro Igor Krutoy joined Dimash with the plan to compose several songs just for him & he has already composed 3 of them Olympico (Ogni Pietra) & Passione & Where Love Lives & he has reworked other songs for Dimash. Igor was also the bald headed judge when Diana was competing & since he has been mentoring her & he paid for an apartment for her & her adoptive family to live in.

Dimash is the only singer I've heard do the Diva Dance to perfection..and they were female singers. I doubt if any male singer can sing it to perfection like Dimash ! Simply stunning !! Or spectacular as you put it so well ! Thank you Greywolf.
QUIN CHIN theres one female singer years ago on TH-cam who did the diva dance very well. I can’t recall her name or TH-cam handle but I hope someone else remembers ... I think she is up there, more recent attempts by other singers haven’t been as good imo. But then Dimash comes along. Not this version, but the Bastau version is really ... almost perfect diva dance rendition ..

"Confessa" is an Italian song by Adriano Celentano, although he sang the first lines in Mandarin, before switching to the original Italian. It's a "I know you don't love me anymore" kind of song.
Love your reaction! Certainly "no one else is gonna get even close to what he just did", but he still can overcome himself, and he did it in his Bastau performance.

Dimash has had piano and vocal training since he was five, but of course the God-given talent had to be his base. Has training in classical and modern music, degree in classical and Broadway Master Class, and another degree in vocal. Now working on Masters in Composing. I’m sure I’m not saying all this well, but please do read his bio in Wikipedia. Now plays several instruments and sings in many languages. You have been Dimashified! Welcome to the Dears. 😊

It was nice to see Dimash’s song with you. He is incredibly talented. But I do not agree that Diana can be compared with this phenomenal guy. He is unique. I heard Dimash for the first time on March 11th. Dimash is Phenomenon.

Edit: Ok I finished the video and Ogni Pietra is only about 3 months old so although I’d still like to see you react, Sinful Passion is the better choice if you’re trying to work your way up. They’re both unbelievable though lol.

Sinful Passion is indeed a great song. Dimash demonstrates yet another skillset of his, it's very impressive and a wonderful ballad. However, in my opinion you have not witnessed the full glory of Dimash until you've seen his "Ogni Pietra" performance at his Arnau concert.
