R.I.P John, I still miss this guy, I'm glad the person behind this account is still uploading his videos, I've built so much muscle following his channel
Thank you for continuing his legacy. I think many many of us will continue to watch and support as long as you all keep posting. RIP -You are not forgotten.
Damn I miss this dude, seemed like such a great man. May his soul enjoy the peace in heaven and may his family find peace on earth. To his son, your father was a titan amongst men
His entire channel whoever is uploading videos take you so much thank you please continue let job meadows the mountain dogs legacy live on period, binge watch this channel incredible solid golden knowledge is all here
Oh man I needed this. I been dieting to lose some covid fat since the new year. I love this channel. Thanks Mountain Dog for putting in so much work that we can benefit.
What a great video, I swear nobody needs a trainer with John's brilliant advice and tips, he always was so sharp and concise and intelligent. We miss u John 😢.
Love getting to see John helping people even now. Thank you for keeping this channel up. Had some coaching from him back in the day. Just stellar. God bless the Meadows family.
It's heart breaking to know that John is gone forever! Thanks to his advice, tips and great videos . . . I've been downloading and following most of his home workout videos since more than a year and totally love them! I wish he was there for me to thank him personally. But thank you to whoever keeps him alive by uploading his videos and helping people around the world to be motivated and continue staying fit. 😍💝
What a valuable resource John left us with this archive of videos. Facing a long work weekend is a lot easier when I can start it with a word from my old buddy the Mountain Dog.
I think he was right about eating around training. I definitely have better workouts, straight to the end, since I've been using a carb preworkout. If it also drives in nutrients, reloads glycogen, etc., so much the better, but it's worthwhile just for the improved energy, IMO. Plus, who isn't hungry when they get home from the gym?
These videos are bitter sweet we need them I love watching them and people have to continue to learn from him because he is one of a kind amazing man it just makes me happy and so sad at the same time .for not knowing somone physically I truely miss him he always responded to any question I had in length ..always all through the years
If you have a realistic distance, take the bike to the gym instead of the car. HUUUUUGE difference in the long run. Made me not stage ready, but lean enough to be very satisfied.
My very top success for fat loss arrived when I stopped to calculate my calories and start to listen my body, stop all the snacks light (i was eating when I was calculating my macros) and eating very healthy, eat just protein and vegetables in the night and never eating before 5 h between meals and that way my body was changing dramatically. I think that everybody must calculate there macro to arrive at point where you are ready to go beyond that and listen to your body. He says you what to do. Yes one day you will eat more and some days you will want to do fasting and it s completely normal because you are not a machine. Some days you must detox and some days you have a appetit. Stay away from all kind of rubbish and listen to your body. Be determinate for fat loss and be patient. You will see the results for sure !
Eating time is the 1% i disagree with John. But that's because not everybody is built the same. I experiment a lot and my best fat loss and muscle development was when I pushed my meals at least two hours away from training (before and after). It feels strong in the gyn eating right before, but the results were not as good.
Apologies in that this has likely been mentioned before. Is someone re-uploading previously posted videos or were these John’s backlog of videos that he hadn’t yet posted? Appreciate it either way.

A legend in the fitness world.
About to begin a cut, perfect timing. Rest in peace
Love that channel is alive. But we need to bring YOYO tricks back!
I love that the channel has more subscribers. He deserved to have millions.
I’m glad he said this. Nutrient timing does make a difference. Especially if you feel a little run down from training.
If you have a realistic distance, take the bike to the gym instead of the car. HUUUUUGE difference in the long run. Made me not stage ready, but lean enough to be very satisfied.
Gold nuggets of information!
RIP John. Such a lovely guy.
Wealth of knowledge. Sad he’s gone. R.I.P.

I know his shirt is an X-men shirt but I cannot unsee Beast's knees as bloooobs.
This is why Dr mike discusses the mesocycle. Starting rep to failure are 3-2, then having a week of 1r/failure. Then deload. In certain instances.
RIP to a legend
We miss John such a great person. Legend ❤️🙏
Great information here
Thanks buddy
RIP LEGEND
Good to see videos continuing to be uploaded ❤️
RIP big homie!! Great content
Thank you
A 20min walk will recharge you better than a 20min nap
Ya know I tend to agree most of the time to this. Unless I am really dog tired I find a quick walk outside just gets me going again.
I agree, as soon as I start to feel like shit I'll take a walk or just put on a show/movie and walk on the spot.
You nailed for me John. Mine was nutrients done what you said don't fell no where as flat not wrong its night and day thankyou John.peace
