Great video, once again! Trainspotting is my favourite movie of all time, and I’m quite a Shakespeare nerd, but it’s so difficult to accurately describe to people the relationship you have with these sorts of movies. It’s more complex than just something you like in a way that’s kind of hard to put into words like you can with a comedy being funny
I totally agree, thanks for the feedback! Train-spotting is just glorious! I need to check out the sequel! If you liked this video, it’s a long shot but you may like my new one!
That’s awesome!!!! Thank you so much for being so nice!!! It seriously means a lot, comments like these are all that keeps me going! So it seriously does make a difference, thank you for being kind! Got a new video coming out it a couple hours (: comment again any time
A movie I thought was exceptionally well done all around that I can never bring myself to watch again was Requiem for a Dream. The filmography, acting, writing, even the music was masterful. But god if it wasn't the most soul crushing film, and made me never wanna do drugs. Talk about a tragedy. But I love the broad range of subjects you're covering. From focusing on why you like particular shows or movies (IT Crowd and Dr. Who) or covering a specific genre like tragedy, it's interesting to get your perspective on it all. I gotta say, I appreciate a good tragedy every now and then. Try to steer away from them if I'm already a bit depressed, but if they're well done and take you through a full range of emotion before leaving you a blubbering mess at the end, that's good every now and then I think. Reminds us that we're human and its natural to feel sad and what not every now and then. :) Another great vid, Nate.
Thank you very much, and yes tragedies are good but only every once in a while. I recently watched nomad land and was blown away. I really was. But then yesterday I had some family stay over, we went to the cinema and when they all went to see the movie I just couldn’t. I told them I would one hundered per cent recommend it, 10/10 but I just couldn’t. Not again. Thanks for the comment and I will be sure to check our requiem of a dream (as long as I’m in the mood for it ) :)
Thank you so much man!!! I’m really sorry for the late reply I think I must have missed your comments the first time around 😅😂 I think it’s got even better NGL, my new video just came out and I went next level!
