On a serious note, Anna, the cars lately just haven't been special. Just faster or more efficient. They're not making cars with character much these days. The Focus is average these days. Quick but average. The Sierra and Escort RS Cosworth's were special. The Focus RS was just a fast Focus with AWD which dulled the fun in my experience. The mark 1 RS was better. A few of us made our choices 5 years ago between the RS and the Honda Civic Type R. Those of us who chose the Honda had far less problems than the others. And the Focus's looks aged badly compared to the Civic. Remember people saying the Type R looks too much? Well, with the edgy looking electric vehicles now, the Civic looks great. I'm just not impressed with Ford anymore, considering I owned the ST for a couple years a while back. Just my opinions though and amazing production values as expected, Anna. ❤️

Unfortunately Ford here in Australia has stopped importing both the Fiesta and the Focus in all models so you are lucky that you still get to drive these performance hot hatches. What I like about the Focus and similar vehicles is they are livable vehicles like they have the performance and fun factor without the harsh ride that other cars have. My advice Anna is enjoy them while you can.
I am so glad to see a road test with our good old petrol motor and to see you again Anna, you have been a little scarce and dare I say I don't watch stuff on electric vehicles- just not fun.

I think the latest Focus like the one in the video is one of the better looking Focus that Ford done. I hated the original Focus for its looks. I was looking at Ford Focus ST estate back when they did them but I ended up going sensible, think of a future life with my ex at the time, so I when with a Poopot (Peugeot) 508SW RXH way back then. Ford is always renowned to make great handling cars especially the ST/ RS line of cars and I think they always say the Focus is the best of the bunch. But with that performance pack it must tick on to the roads like glue or should I say superglue. I think that's the type of car that love to drive because it always looks like you like hampering the car around corners especially the old videos when you going round Swiss Alps. Yes totally agree it's that type of car that you want a manual gearbox. Well you never going to get Mercedes quality interior in a Ford. Love the pops and crackles. I think it show how good this Ford Focus ST because Napa Racing UK/ Motorbase are using them in BTCC and they are running away with the Championship especially with Ash Sutton one of there racing drivers and they got a great looking livery. I was thinking is the ST going to be no more. It's going to be sad times when that happens. Well, All the best Anna. :-)

A little treat on a Thursday! So why make this a 4 door? 2 doors would have looked better, hardly likely to take passengers out on a track day. Great video, some new graphics / special effects and madam on good form, love it! Just to add, that under the bridge location has a lot of background noise, surely you deserve more salubrious surroundings.

Hi Anna! Nice to see you again as it's been a while. In my town, not many Ford passenger cars are sold at all, but a few American Ford pick-ups. This is probably because it was much more expensive in the past (the 80s) to insure Ford cars as they were so expensive for spare parts and this resulted in you not getting paid well for your Ford when changing cars, not even Ford dealers paid well for their vehicles when exchanging for a new one. It went so badly that several Ford dealers went bankrupt, so now they are sold through then Volvo.
while I'm not a fan of moving all switches to the touchscreen. I have to say the AC is the one I'm least conerned about. Why? Because I set it to a certain temp and then that's that. I "might" change the setting between seasons since my warderobe changes. But having constant access to that is not a concern. AC is not a thing I'm constantly fidgiting with.... Music is!
Probably customer demand and simply physics. The track pack is a cherry on the cake, but also designed with a track in mind. I think not many ST wagon owners will take their car on the track.
Fast Fords have always been good to drive and this one’s no different. I hate big touchscreens and not because my Porsche doesn’t have one. But all in all , yes it’s no RS but few are and most of the time you’d be satisfied well enough. Anna loves it so it puts a smile on that beautiful face it’s a fabulous car 🚗 See you next time , not very very soon 🥴 These enthusiasts cars are for alone time not worrying about passengers 😂
A good review. I was wondering how hard the suspension would be on the track pack for normal road use, I expected it would be quite a thump as you described. I know its "manually adjustable" but I think I'll stick with the electronic adjustable set up in the standard ST when I get mine. Would like those big Brembo brakes though, but I'll bet ford won't put them on unless I buy the whole track pack option. Grrr. Appreciated chick. 👍

But it could be because I'm not 20 anymore! ;-) The Brembo brakes depend on which country you are in, nothing is ever this simple with car manufacturers 🤣
wow a knowledgeable automotive journalist model and awesome cars, where has this channel been all my life!? what is that weird yawing effect that can be seen early in the video? I thought maybe she was using a drone but then it seemed to only affect the outline of the vehicle itself. I found that to be nearly nausea inducing. Awesome review though i look forward to further enjoyment of the channel.

Yes Anna….buy and remember is the job.. car with flaws but mostly with a heart…not a conveyance to get somewhere on time…not the best for going to the dentist and Aunt Maud will hate it. However….there are others who understand it…and hate to think of it going so soon. 🫢😰🙂🙂🙂🙂

The 4-door is far more practical and better looking, in my opinion. Shame the Fiesta ST is no more. It represented better value for money.

I find my adaptive on my 2020 MK4 perfectly fine, though I don't do track days which the track pack is obviously aimed at.
