This is probably my favorite episode in the show autos back story and him fighting Garfield was cool and subaru and emilias conversation showcasing all the development he has had these 2 seasons and helping to pass his gained wisdom to Emilia then when i read these 2 sceans in the books they were even better
Otto can't talk with mabeast, at best they just think about killing and eating, and at worst their mental rambling can fuck with his mind and make Otto turn crazy like with the white whale (just remember the effect of the whale's screaming to the normal soldier, now imagine if Otto directly listen it's mind...).
