It's sadly probably not an option they have when he's got no income, a newborn child to care for, and a tarnished record (whether he did it or not, employers probably would rather not hire him), so he's got plenty to sue *for* , but these things are exactly what may prevent him from actually suing.

To me it seems more logical to sue the ones responsible you know, the government.

i could punch holes in all of their "evidence"
IP Address: People must know by now that you can spoof an IP Address , or someone who had access to their WiFi password could post the ad either outside within range, or while visiting.
Eyewitness accounts: Easy to setup. Also, a human eyewitness account is the least credible account everywhere except for the court of law. It's possible it's the obvious of it being his brother as well. The fact that he said that his alibi was not important due to all the other "evidence" shoes they didnt want to find the real person.
These investigators are jokes. They still think he's guilty even though it's been proved he's not. And since when is it your problem if someone that looks like you decides too commit a crime? It's not like he was encouraging his brother to do it.

Man has proof that 2/3 times he was at work during the robberies with supporting statements from his boss - "Nope. He's guilty"
Man proves he has a brother who looks identical to him, has the same gun that was used in the robberies, and had the exact same items as the ones stolen in the robberies. - "Nope. He is definitely guilty"
Video is taken of the brother being questioned and the brother's lies being caught. - "Doesn't count. He is without a doubt guilty"
Court uses a classic method of pointing out suspects which shows that the brother is the most likely suspect - "Okay maybe, JUST MAYBE, we had the wrong guy?"Look, I will agree that in fairness, there are times where evidence may seem suspicious or you can say that it may have been falsified. But considering that all this pretty damning evidence has been consistently showing up which seem to prove, at the very least, that the guy you had DIDN'T do it, I'd think you'd maybe start considering he was innocent BEFORE you throw him in jail for about 19 months?

It's a technique? What they did was criminal... after all the evidence, the email etc... it took them over a year to figure out 1+1 =2 . All these ppl are dumb. It shows they don't care about justice, as long as they have a person to blame. "Even though he had an alibi , we had other evidence that made the alibi less important ".....what?
They keep saying "beyond reasonable doubt "... means if we think you did it, you did it, even if you can prove that we are wrong.
Every person involved needs to be charged and locked up. They are playing with people's lives.

Wait one damn minute. If someone has a SOLID ALIBY with witnesses from their job, how is the evidence compelling? There should be freaking cameras at whatever job he has, so you mean to tell me that whatever evidence you have beats a camera and his MANAGER from his place of employment? Then to end it off by saying "Well if you're going to have a family member that looks like you commit a crime, maybe you should stop them." IDIOT! If he was at work (which he was) then how was he suppose to know he was going to commit a crime? My God, these are the people responsible for ensuring real justice is served? God help us all!

2 things bother me a ton. First the cop says, "that's the justice system that was designed by our founding fathers". No sir, you break every law for the justice system our founding fathers put into place. Second, "If you have a family member that looks like you might want to stop them before you get in trouble for their crime". Essentially saying we are incompetent at our jobs and we might put an innocent man in prison and we don't care.

The fact these corrupt people are sitting there still trying to defend their wrong actions, unable to admit their wrongdoings, and then basically blame the victim for looking like someone else - is evidence of how sick minds create sick systems.
