You rock girl! It takes a strong person to publish their trials and tribulations while learning.
After the first attempt collapsed I thought you were going to turn the base into a raggedy topped vase which would have been cool.
But no, you pushed on toward your goal and I think learned a few more lessons in the process.
Keep trying and one day you will have a 5' piece, and then 6', and after that the sky is the limit.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I really love process. I love learning about them and finding ways to improve. Documenting my process has really been a key part in helping me improve, and I hope by sharing my process it can help others too. Thank you so much for watching and engaging! 💕 hopefully sometime in the not too far future I can post a successful 6’ piece 😁

Im so glad to see your process. Im a new potter. Watching you learning while you work and telling us your thinking and letting us see your fails helps me . I know i will have frequent and worse fails as i learn but you give me the patience to keep on going and learning.

Thank you for watching Cynthia! I’m so happy this video could be helpful for you. And one thing to note is there’s not too much at stake when making mistakes while working with clay; as long as the clay isn’t bisque fired you can always wedge it back up and try again!
